Tension makes everything look amazing and new. I still remember the first time it happened.

I was in South Shroud doing some mining and suddenly the music just stops and the entire mood of the forest changed. It was cool and also at the same time frightening because I had no idea what was going on, and no idea what was going to happen next.

It was "tension" in every aspect, as though at any moment something terrible could come barreling through the mists and cleave my skull in half. I quickly learned what it meant but that little moment really stuck with me and knowing the mechanic it is tied to doesn't make me dislike it.

I kinda really want to see what the deeper parts of the Sylph forest look like with Tension on it. I've really only seen the greener parts.

Heavy swing, berserk, triple cleave rotation with a str pot. You will end up pacified as gaze goes off so no need to worry about deeps loss.

If they openly showed how many people are on a server, people will just stick to mega servers like Gilgamesh or Balmung and never fill up the other servers.

There's already a way to see how many people are on your server by doing a quick level 1-60 player search, but he's complaining that he's too lazy and incompetent to do so and he should be spoonfed everything.

Twice now, they've fucked up. First in 1.0 with that hack Tanaka, and again in ARR/HW with the hack Yoshi-P.
Realistically I give the game about 12 months before it just kicks the proverbial bucket completely. People already left in droves during Heavensward and the game shows absolutely no signs of ever, ever improving. Mind you, SE as a whole is also at fault, here. The dev team's too small and there's not enough money going IN to the game, which means we're constantly getting bullshit like the massive lack of content we've had since 2.3, as well as shit being pushed back for literally no reason such as Anima Relics.

It has always been a casual server, but it was pretty comfy and friendly.
3.1 kinda killed it this trend however. Now there's a wide group of players who's acting extremely elitist and annoying, there's a raiding mentality going on but the players are still shit like they were before, so you can imagine how it is.
Pretty much what happens when a catch-up is released in a casual server and shitters suddenly think they are elite hardcore raiders because they have welfare gear now.
