Generally you'll want chains in certain situations where you'll be able to connect a ton of mining probes together, while not covering up too many nodes with sightseeing spots/S-rank combat spots.

Chains aren't too important for research probes, since generally you're better off just tossing those on nodes which you've unlocked sightseeing points for, which may not chain up well. Even if you were to chain them, you'd likely waste probes on spots without sightseeing spots, which would be a waste of research probes.

As far as I've found, you don't actually have enough research probes for every node with sightseeing spots.

In general, duplicator/booster probes should be saved for your storage array; the map in the last thread (and hopefully if some anon posts the 150k one here, that one as well), as you need a cap for superweapons/skell frames. Since Credit cap is far higher than your miranium cap, you should try to build research nodes as a priority over miranium mining nodes (endgame).

While progressing through the story, focus on miranium for quests that require it, and to build up your AMs, as they'll greatly improve your offensive capabilities.

Don't really worry too much about your probes, once you've got 100k+ miranium storage in the endgame, you're pretty much set to do whatever you want with your other probes, and support missions exist to net you 300k Credits and 30k miranium in around 2~ minutes.

I just started the game, only 30 hours in, I'm enjoying it so far but goddamn is the enemy level balancing completely fucked up. Narrow passages with hostile, hidden monsters 20 levels above me guarding areas with shitty weak ones that have nothing to do with them. And worst of all is that quests often involve going through these areas, even main quests. I understand them wanting the wolrd to be threatening, but couldn't they structure it a bit better? Couldn't they have been a bit more moderate with the apex predators everywhere? Fuck, exploration doesn't feel as good as it could because of this, I'm more concerned with avoiding monsters than actually moving and seeing the scenery.

Also, fuck fighting against a monster and then a bigger one suddenly showing up and one-shotting my whole team.

I have all AMs maxed and the ONLY ones that manufacture skell gear is sakuraba and grenada mainly, with one or two weapons developed by meredith. If its only purpose is to keep the database alive, then there's no sane design reason to make it so that someone (specifically Elma?) has to walk in there and press a button. I can't explain where the hell the "souls" went to without speculating about Mira, but just because the database is wrecked doesn't mean reaching the Lifehold core was pointless. That's not how it works; it's cumulative. 1 RP = 1 Scale, 5 RP = 2 Scale, so 5 RP = 3 scales. You get the prizes for everything you've reached.

What I think is happening is that The bodies in the lifehold were never controlling the mims, rather the mims are simply human consciousnesses copy-pasted into the artificial bodies. There is no consciousness transferring procedure, and to try and transfer back into the human body would be for the mim to die and the human to wake up from stasis.

If you run off a ledge, you have about half a second window where you're still in run mode before you enter fall mode. You can jump after you run off a ledge.

which also kinda needed to complete the rest of the affinity missions which will unlock the superweapon blueprint for lv 60 skell

In my search for shields, the skell arm weapons, I've been able to make a few observations.

This is for those of you looking to farm slightly different types of skell weapons besides the G buster and Phoenix. The following types of enemies tend to drop these types of skell weapons.

Petramand - Gatling/miniguns/needleguns, basically the non-shield skell arm weapons.
Machine Quo - E-Scythe

Everyone talks about g-buster and all, but why no one talks about the drones. That things tears through bosses like butter.

Also liking the light skells more so than the heavy skells. They tend to dodge tank everything, and it has allowed me to fight some of the harder tyrants like the level 85 tyrant that needs the aurora in sylvaum. Though the game crash and I didn't save so I lost the recon.
