Theres a side shop there that sells some items, when drow (blue elf big tity chick) got a kill, she bought the second component to get an item called the helm of the dominatator, which allows you to take control an enemy minion/jungle creature.

She then uses the helm on a nearby enemy ranged creep to use that to deny herself.

Denying is the act of killing off an enemy unit (like heroes or creeps) to give less experience and no gold.
