The new champion that's being teased is called Jhin, the Deadeye.

He's an adc, and he's designed to counter assassin's. He was probably so good at doing that in testing that he completely shut down assassins like Zed in-game, and that's why they're making a new item specifically for him and buffing him, despite everyone complaining saying he's op, because they know just how countered he is by the new champion and they're just trying to find a nice balance for him to still be viable.

Nothing that can be done with the role, it's fundamentally a bad design. Roles like 'tank' are simple and have a single attribute that defines them, adc must be ranged, have no down time on their damage source, it can't miss, good at taking towers, and weak early to balance out these other factors. Ofc they're going to be boring, they should be a single champion, not a class.
