The normal multiplayer usually has people during normal hours, but siege is a bitch to get a game going for. Because even if you attack another clan, they can opt not to defend and you get a 'default victory' which just means they just lose 5 BP.


Also there's clear pay to win bullshit with the golden eggs. I get the feeling that the PC version is going to be a straight port of what we got here. Since you need to spend hundreds of dollars or play for decades to unlock everything normally.

Fuck, I usually stick to other generals, but I need your hot opinions /nintyg/.

I worked a seasonal job that started on Black Friday, so I have a little bit of spending money after paying my credit card bills. The current 3ds I have is one that I bought off my friend that he got when they first dropped, so it's pretty old. I want to get a new 3ds, but I dislike the newXL, because I'd prefer something a bit smaller, and with customization. Would it be a bad idea to get the Animal Crossing regular size new3ds over the newXL, even though I don't like Animal Crossing?

tl;dr, is pic related a bad buy for someone who isn't a fan of animal crossing that wants customization?

So I'm kind of torn here and I was hoping for some input from the long time Nintendo players.

I'm trying to decide between getting a Wii U or a 3DS. I only have enough money for one system, and I want to know which one has more playability.

I want the Wii U for:
-Smash
-Mario Maker
-Splatoon
-Various Mario games (World, Party, Kart etc.)

However if I get the 3DS I can still play Smash and I could get back into one of my favorite games, Animal Crossing, as well as Pokemon.

There's some guy here that hates emulations, and N64 emulation is really problematic but with lesser known games, Zelda is fine.
For the Wii you just have to search for the .wad and install it.
The 3DS version has some changes that make the boss fights easier (bad change), the notebook of the subquests is way more use friendly (this is a good thing), you can skip to specific hours now (good thing) and for whatever reason fast swimming uses magic (bad) and you can freeze water with the Ice Arrows only on specific places (bad)

How is the change to the Bomber's Notebook a good thing? It pops up so fucking much. Why would it not give you the full description to a person's time table immediately as you speak to someone? I ... really don't get how this is a positive change. In the original game, you got the full time table, but in the remake you only get a partial time table. If you're playing the game and getting everything, you spend 20 minutes looking at the Bomber's Notebook. In the N64 version you can completely skip doing that if you know what you are doing. Plus, the way the Bomber's Notebook is given to you in the 3DS version is really awful in every way. Please explain.

Why is there no option to display NES eshop games on 3DS at their native resolution?

If you hold select while loading a Game Boy game, or an original DS game, the screen adjusts accordingly and displays the native resolution. But I bought SMB3 yesterday and discovered that that doesn't work and I seem to be stuck with the ugly stretched image. What the fuck?

Just went to GameStop to get a used copy of Super Paper Mario and I realized how small the Nintendo section is. Same thing at BestBuy when I was buying my WiiU last month. Such a small selection of fucking anything Nintendo really.

It's a hassle if you have a large amount of mons to transfer.

The poke transporter is ass and only grabs box one from the BW game, and then you have to switch apps to bank to actually get them to gen VI.

To transfer more, you have to go back to BW, put them all in box 1 again and then repeat the process.

I want to play Xenoblade Chronicles X and it's important to me the fact Nintendo exclusives are never released for PC. But in my country Wii U games are much more expensive than PS4 games and i'm afraid the console will be dead by 2017.
