So what does everybody's 3DS homescreen (and game collection) look like? That is, how do you have your homescreen arranged, what's in your folders (if you have any), which games do you own, and so on.

Pic related is mine. I keep my physical cartridge icon at the front (always FFTA2), followed by my folders (3DS, DS & DSiWare, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy & Color, and Virtual Console), and then the general Nintendo stuff, sorted alphabetically, stacked three tall (like every folder). My theme is rotating favourites (Splatoon: Les Soeurs Ventouse, Yoshi: Sieste Printanière, Kirby: Papier Kraft, Des Boo Tout Partout, Collection Évoli: Mentali Et Noctali, Mighty Switch Force! Theme, NES: Metroid: Samus, Passelettre: Nikki Et Ses Amis, Rottytops Theme, and Shantae Pirate Theme).

I have a lot in my folders, as my games are all digital (save for FFTA2, of course). If anybody is curious about space requirements, I have a much larger card than is natively supported by the system (you can actually use any size you want, it just has to be force-formatted to FAT32). As far as the “if you lose your system you lose all your games!” complaint is concerned...all you need to know is your NNID information, and your system's serial number. If I ever lose my system and buy a new one, I'd just have to call Nintendo, let them know, tell them my information, and I'm good to go. They'd be able to transfer ownership of all my games to my new account, and they'd all be available for download in the eShop under “available downloads”. Frankly I don't mind the mild inconvenience of that (should it ever happen) if it means I can carry around 100+ games in one pocket.

There is a secret faction in Nintendo (and now 4chan for deleting my post) though that tries to remove some of the shit during the localization process, that is why it takes so long. Well I will say that the game is complex, and Platinum never does a good job explaining their mechanics. It took til about the third or fourth mission for the game to properly click with me. Once it did click my opinion on the game completely 180d, and it became one of my favorite of the generation. If you like action games like this, I would say give it another shot.

Also, for the controls complaint, I assume you don't like the touch screen drawing. You can also make shapes with the right stick, which is a lot easier.

So a while back I set out to make a full set of mario maker worlds to form one 'game' I halted development, however, to wait for checkpoints to be released. Several life crises later, I'm late to update, but I hope someone out there would still like to play these. Even if you've played before, all of these levels have been updated in some manner. I urge you to give them a try!

It comes reccomended to download 4 at a time and play them as a World in coursebot, to get the most out of the experience.

The overall graphical style pretty much looks the same, just cleaner. I like that there's more detail on things, especially on Zant's helmet, but like... they're really gonna have to sell people on this, especially considering you can still play the original on the Wii U for only $20 or so. Also after playing the single player of devils third, I can understand why it got such low scores.

1. Performance problems in single player, texture pop in, frame drops. I can entirely blame this on whatever left overs they were using from the unreal engine. I had similar problems with Gears of War on the 360. I had no problems with multiplayer performance except that there was nobody playing last night but 4 people.

2. It plays like a video game and not a movie. I can see it getting marked off because it's not cinematic enough.

3. Some of the graphics are very good. Some look really bad. The character model faces are pretty nice and remind me of 90s Capcom Final Fight characters.

4. The controls are actually very easy and fun. Parkour, especially in online, is goat as fuck. Also bullets actually do damage unlike in other games, and there's a satisfying gush of Ninja Gaiden style blood as a kill confirm.

5. The game is too sexy and too brutal for SJW audiences. The story also is literally 80s B Movie flick, but the story scenes don't drag on unlike the majority of cinematic games today.

6. Pressing Start actually pauses the game while in a cutscene. WOW.

Check out Bravely Default, the Etrian Odyssey series, Smash 4, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Kirby Triple Deluxe, and Shovel Knight.

Some of the towns are castle towns. It doesn't really matter because you learn Zoom pretty early and can hop between towns easily.

So I finally gave in and just ordered myself the Wii U Premium pack with Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon (both as download unfortunately). That should keep me busy for a while and I know the risks of amassing a backlog but Xenoblade should be in my library aswell, right? Why is it so expensive compared to other Wii U titles, Mario Maker, Mario Party all that stuff is 39€, Xenoblade is 55€. Hurts a bit after just shelling out 340€ for the pack + pro controller

You can't just blame developers or publishers for changing insignificant portions of games in western localisation. The changes exist because of the norms of other cultures.

A company wants to make money selling their product in another region. People in said region are weirded out by things that are in the un-localised version, such as JAIL BAIT.

If you tell me that a game was censored because it dealt with heavy themes/concepts. Or because it had a message about sexuality, anti-capitalism, how weed is rad, or some 1984 type shit. And the "big bad games company" decided it was inappropriate, so they replaced half the plot. Then we would be talking censorship by a dev/publisher.

Instead you are crying "SJW" like a 13 year old who just discovered r/tumblrinaction, because you didn't get to see some underwear in a video game.

It's not okay if I don't care about it. It's okay if it isn't remotely relevant to what makes the work, that work. If it was removing an aspect of a game that was the point of the game, then there would be an issue.
For example, removing Skells from Xenoblade X in the localisation for any reason, would be an actual issue. Removing fan-service that was to help boost sales in the original region, is a non-issue.

Also apparently NintenJW of America censored some religious themes or names from XCX, yet Bayonetta, a game entirely focused on Luciferian and Occult Worship and summoning is kept intact.

There are morons in NoA that are sabotaging Nintendo. Yes, Nintendo is family friendly, but they've also always had games for mature gamers such as myself.

And Nintendo has always been removing religious imagery from games they publish, including their own (OoT for example), for a long time in the west. Most likely a hold over from games constantly being attacked by American media in the 90's. Which is shitty. But since it is self imposed by a company onto their for profit entertainment product, it isn't censorship by definition.

As for Bayo. If they removed the religious themes from Bayonetta, it would essentially be removing the whole game. Changing/removing most of a game is a legit insane thing to do, especially for a niche localisation. Which probably why they didn't do.
