Don't listen to him, it's true Halo 5 is still lacking in modes but there's certainly enough content to keep you playing.
The map variety has improved since launch, and they've added Forge and Social playlists.
They've confirmed that modes like Grifball, Infection etc are coming at some point, though I'm as annoyed as everyone else that it's taking them this long.

Multi flag is obviously there's either 2 flags in play
Single has rounds which have defense and offensive rounds, which is better imo. like 1 flag on zanzibar is much better than fucking multiflag zanzibar

I've had fun in the few customs where yield wasn't the party leader. Many spooky maps have been made. If you weren't there, you have no one to blame but yourself.
You are also forgetting stronghold where games like Indiana Jones and Monster trucks can be worked in to.

I agree bloom with the DMR was fucked if you were fighting against somebody else with a DMR, but that's an issue with the exact values they used for bloom per shot, recovery, and max spread in combination with the DMR's bullet magnetism. For every other gun in the game or the DMR against any other gun in the game it worked fine.
Bloom isn't the problem, it's the way they implemented it in reach specifically, and even then it's preferable over 2 or 3 where you were always at a disadvantage for not having a BR/carbine as one of your two guns.

Counter Strike's bullets aren't nearly as random as Halo's, and can be controlled without having to let off the trigger.
Bloom is a problem because Halo isn't a military shooter. There's no reason for it to exist on guns meant to be accurate. It will never do its job properly. All it does it make those weapons better at close range, while fucking them up at long range. Bloom is the wrong solution to a problem that was never a real issue in the first place.

Pistol duels were literal dice rolls sometimes with its ROF, pacing was completely screwed. Needle Rifle bloom was contained in the reticule unless you held the trigger down (like CE's pistol though that spread within the reticule).

I think that's a valid question to ask, but my answer is a hard cap feels limiting and frusrating if it's too low. Think of how absurd the halo3 pistol felt. The ability to fire faster even at a cost feels nicer then an oddly long firecap and does give thee player the option to take a trade off and can add a layer of skill of being able to control yourself.

It's a known thing. It happens every so often. Not at all common, but not unheard of. It's game-wide, not just for any individual. You can tell if it's happening because nobody will be using anything except AR and Magnum.
It actually happened to me yesterday also, so maybe when it happens it's a wider problem than just one game. Towards the very end of the game it cleared up, so everybody went from basic loadout weapons and occasional things scavenged from AI enemies to Level 8 weapons and vehicles suddenly everywhere.

If you really want some reasons that have been rehashed over the past 5 years, alright.
The killtimes are too slow for Sprint. This is only made worse with bloom forcing you to slow your kills even further in order to remain accurate. The difference between max walk speed and max sprint speed is too high. It allows for escapes out of losing battles far too quickly with almost no punishment at all.
Evade broke hitboxes, and was nearly a straight upgrade to sprint.
Jetpack destroyed any semblance of verticality and high ground. Intelligent use allowed the Jetpack user to do whatever they want. This was only made worse by Reach having really slow vertical aim acceleration and Bungie's fetish with a crosshair on the bottom half of the screen.
Active Camo promoted sitting back or camping with shotguns. It also caused the Camo powerups to be all but elimiated in favor of just spawning with it. This isn't entirely the Armor Ability's fault, Bungie has been trying to remove powerups for years.
Hologram was cool
Drop Shield had all of the problems of Halo 3's Bubble Shield, but now you could have an infinite amount of them.
There is nothing more that can be said about Armor Lock.
Like with Halo 3's equipment, almost every ability focused on overly-defensive play in a game that is already slow and shitty. Jetpack is the one exception, but it made map geometry pointless.

Most of what you were told is untrue.
In one mode only, called Warzone, you get power weapons and vehicles by using limited use "Req cards." You CAN get Req cards by spending real money, but there is literally zero reason to - you get a ton of them through normal gameplay. I've never spent a dime, and I have a ton of vehicle cards saved up.
And that's only in Warzone. In the classic multiplayer mode, called Arena here, there are no cards or anything. It's the same as it's always been - vehicles are on the map as usual. And there is BTB. Despite what one person said, there's nothing called a "playlist card," it's available in Arena just like any other mode.
