Damnit why didnt anyone tell me that the Tashkent was terrible? Its way too big to be a destroyer and those extra hitpoints over the Kiev mean nothing since its so easy for cruisers to land every shell from a full volley. And since it gets hit so much easier my engine and rudder is down way more often. I would have at least thought having the extra range on torps would be useful but they're too slow to reach the enemy before he has plenty of time to respond. It even feels like my HE shells do way less damage than my Kievs.

So much promise, entertaining gameplay.. Amazing developer team... But WoTV was butchered by the Publisher forcing Devs to work on DLC before fixing issues that arose at launch(April was launch.), and a few subsequent issues that arose from the DLC.

Only to let them go once the DLC was released to replace them with an "In house team" (That took an immediate month long vacation.)
The Publisher shortly thereafter dropped support of the game and issued refunds (But butchered the refunds.. taking almost a year to arrive... and some of the refund still hasn't actually arrived, now that I think about it.)
Will likely never spend real $ on Paradox games again.

How do I adjust my playstyle for the Tashkent coming from the Kiev? Enemy cruiser shell velocity is no longer sluggish at long range and I cant dodge nearly as well as I could in the Kiev so I get hit a lot, especially since I'm way bigger.

Murmansk was the best T5 CA until they put the Konigsburg in and it's still pretty good. Really fun ship if you like those Omaha style ships.
Warspite gets a bad reputation a bit but as someone who plays mostly BBs I love mine, it's got mediocre range and it's slow with awful turret traverse, but the ship turns on a dime and the actual guns are remarkably accurate and murder anything you hit with them. It's basically the epitome of the BBs in the game, and someone who prefers faster and more versatile ships like CAs or DDs probably wouldn't like it but if you're used to dealing with average BB gameplay and just enjoy brawling and watching big number appear when you shoot at things it's great fun.

I've had issues with HE spam and fires a lot but I've actually found it's armor to be fine, it's not great but I spend most of my time weaving and fishtailing so everything hits at bad angles and it actually seems to bounce an awful lot of shells. I hear it a lot though so maybe it's just my experience but it's never seemed anything drastically worse than something like the Fuso.
