The League patch did give one solid reason to go into NG+, what with depth 5 CFR materials being for sale. In-game farming spots are completely irrelevant compared to CD farming spots, and since unlocked chalices and store inventory carry over through NG cycles none of that is lost.

I don't know anything about compensating for latency, reading attacks, and I'm shit at parrying. I kind of just want to get a taste.

Having high insight doesn't increase frenzy damage, just reduces how much time it takes for frenzy to trigger. Go back to Hunter's Dream, there's a messenger bath where you can spend your insight.

They were actually better before the patch, when Gascoigne and Alfred didn't take up a summon slot. You could have them plus two players for four bodies total.

Having 40 insight just makes it visible, if you want to do anything with it you'll need a special key item called a Tonsil Stone. But if you payed attention to what NPCs say and read the full description of your items you'd know that. (Press square in the inventory).

this might be old news to everyone but if you're farming elder, you can cheese him with backstabs using tricked saw spear

See, this is the problem when you try to do a BL4 no damage run against bosses.

You end up learning the boss's moveset so thoroughly that the boss loses some of its magic and mystique.

False King Allant isn't even the final boss of Demon's Souls, you inbred scum. You can beat him before you're even halfway through the game. As soon as you beat your first Arch Demon, you gain access to 1-3. After beating 1-3, you get access to 1-4. If you're good enough, you can beat him before even touching any of the other three Arch Stones.

The final boss of Demon's Souls is a slug underneath the Nexus.

Pretty much every chalice-unique boss is something right out of dark souls 2. Most of them feel blatantly out of place just in how they work mechanically, as shit like defiled watchdog or undead giants beg you to play passive hit&run styles in a game that's otherwise about being as aggressive as possible. Like, undead giant wouldn't even be a bad boss in DaS2, he'd suit the mechanics of the game pretty decently with his poor-tracking but wide-angle combos and baitable 'get off of me' spin attacks. It's just that playing that way is like the antithesis of BB's combat system, and it's a crock of bullshit putting up with those bosses for the ~3 minutes it takes to kill them.

Yeah. It really saddens me that Miyazaki didn't manage to make this game into one that punishes passive play. The whole passive act of "wait for the enemy attack and punish his opening" is still the most effective tactic in the game. It works against any boss in BB, no matter how aggressive they are.

What is the worst boss in the game and why is it chalice Rom?

Because I will help on literally every other boss. Defiled Amy is just a complete waste if time in co-op. The fight is ridiculously easy solo, but in co-op she becomes unpredictable, especially with her jumps. It doesn't make sense to waste time fighting her, only to have to have the host get crushed by a jump X minutes into the fight because she changed direction midair.

Bloodborne is the only souls game that has Japanese VAs. Apparently it's because yharnamites and other enemies speak now and since they don't have subtitles for every enemy in the game that can talk, they just actually did japanese this time.
