Whats the deal with the skeleton at the desk in the basement? Its stuck in the corner with a bunch of candles around it, but who lit the candles?

And those mannequies- the displays are still set up, but the naked ones, if some scavvers come and took their clothes, why did they get put up again?

Even New Vegas that had only 18 months of development managed to have unique textures and sometimes models for their unique variants and that really added a great flavour for the weapons.

I looked at Fallout 3's weapons, Skyrim's weapons and Fallout 4 weapons, not even one unique variant. Every unique iron sword looks the same as the default iron sword, ever unique 10mm pistol looks the same as the default 10mm pistol.

Is the surface of the Commonwealth actually worth saving? Think about it, what have they got to contribute? Diamond City hiding behind their walls, the Minutemen crashed and burned when they tried to fight a military-themed raider gang, every other settlement is a tiny hovel with one or two people, maybe a 'store' selling 200-year-old food.

Just imagine what could actually be achieved if the resources they're currently wasting, the real estate they're currently squatting on, were instead in the hands of highly motivated, super-intelligent perfected synths, working tirelessly to create a new garden of Eden.

As much as I love the institute, I don't really think everyone on the surface is truly lost or deserves to die. There are a few scientists in the institute who express the same opinion, and with father out of the picture the institute could probably become a guiding force that looks after the commonwealth rather than simply spying on them and using them for experiments. The Synths would be the perfect task force on the surface when it came to helping people rebuild the old world, the only problem is the people who would rather live in shit and the people in the institute who don't respect human life properly.

Lets face it, even Witcher 3 was shit. No quest after the Bloody Baron could ever live up to the great writing of that arch. After 50 hours into the game the last 24 hours were just suffering. Dropped it when I had 74h accumulated and finished all quest.

Dropped Fallout 4 after just 30 hours (main+all sides), main quest done after 18 hours (including the side quests I felt doing early.)

Works can't describe how much I hate Fallout 4's main quest an how impossible it is to roleplay around it. One of the best features of FO:NV was the utter blank slate the Courier was. Until Lonesome Road at least, but at least that was optional.

Up until that moment the SS thinks it was an infant, then Nick says "a guy matching the description of the kidnapper had a 10 year old boy" and the SS jumps immediately to "yeah that could be him."

I kept getting disappointed that I couldn't explain the second cryophase specifically. It was a really important part of the mystery that I noticed immediately, but my character kept telling everyone that Shawn was an infant without explaining that he also spent an undetermined amount of time in cryogenic stasis since last seeing him. It really pissed me off when the fucking detective didn't realize this and instead insisted that I was still looking for an infant. I just think it'd have been cool if you could side with Gristle in Concord, kill Preston and start overunning those settlements instead of saving them, enslaving the settlers and then when you set up a radio beacon, raiders, junkies and mercs show up instead of settlers.
