That's expected, but if you get more in the second, your third round will be almost done after you start it and it's going to be focused on achievements mostly, 2k is still too low and doable with a couple of Dragonflights, but I guess if you ascend with 10 HC only for the first time, it's not really going to boost that much for the second, making it necessary to ascend after 500 or 1k is reached because 10 HC is just too low.

Aim to get 77 golden cookies, then get all the golden cookie upgrades. After that let your cookies get high enough to the point where you're getting max cookies from a frenzy cookie. Having all golden cookies means during a frenzy near the end another golden cookie will spawn, which typically will give you cookies, or rarely clickstorm.

There is a debug command that will calculate cookies when the game isn't open. Handy, but to really get the most out of the game you gotta be semi active, clicking golden cookies and such.

So has anyone actually managed to get permanent upgrade slot 5 yet?

Started a fresh file in the beta to experience all the changes from the start.

Started a couple days ago, reset at the start of this evening because I didn't realize how acquiring chips worked now (I thought ascending would reset when you gain chips so I could get another at only 1 trill instead of going all the way up to 6 or whatever)

It seems there's a hidden 100% prestige bonus since the heavenly chip upgrades seemed to be unlocking portions of something closer to a 101% bonus instead of 1% I think this existed in the main game and always bugged me when trying to work out math.

Were dungeons scrapped or moved to a different part? I thought they were unlocked fairly early when they were in the beta (and were also completely useless for anything but watching for fun)

They got moved off for a later update I think, although why Orteil moved them when they seemed to work fine(ish) is beyond me. Maybe he's trying to revamp them, or plans on including them when he works in the other building interactivity?

I completely blame orteil for me doing nothing today.

I've been awake for 19 hours and almost all of it has been playing this game again.

After 2 days of Idling with Golden Switch, Multiplier and Milk Dragon Auras, I can says it doesn't worth it. I made 20 Nonillion with this over 2 day.

After switich back everything I made 15 Nonillion after a single Dragonflight.

You frenzy+lucky your way there if you've got Get Lucky at this point. Otherwise you just regular lucky your way there. It's a bit of a crawl the first time you have to build up to that point, but everything else goes faster once you get there and stay above the threshold.

you can wait 84,000 seconds
every lucky gives you 10% of your bank up to 1200 seconds' worth, that's a huge chunk, and frenzied luckies which are still really common if you have all the golden cookie upgrades work up to 8400 seconds' worth (or 1200 seconds at frenzied speed)
click frenzies are massive if you get lucky, a single frenzied click frenzy can get you pretty much all the way to your cap.

Prestige levels give you an overall multiplier boost. Heavenly chips are currency used to buy permanent upgrades. They increase at the same rate by the same cause but are independent of each other in terms of functionality.

Click every golden cookie you see and get the three upgrades that get unlocked (the golden clovers) this makes them show up 4 times as often, stay on your screen 4 times as long and their effects last twice as long. Frenzy (x7 production multiplier) is great and near the end another cookie will spawn and if it is a click frenzy (x777 click multiplier) you will get a huge amount of cookies early game.

Everything else is just a modification of that system wrath cookies come with downsides but it is a net gain, cookie chains aren't as cool as they used to be and make sure to ascend at 10 prestige to get the dragon cookie for the dragonflight buff (x1500 click buff)

tl;dr Get the upgrades for them and click them and hope for frenzy/click frenzy or frenzy/Dragonflight combos for game breaking amounts of cookies.

yes, prestige level and number of HC are always tied at a 1:1 ratio. Prestige now does what HC used to do which is provide the over all production boost. HC now is used as currency for talents when you ascend. Once you have all of them the new ones you get are useless but your prestige is always a benefit.
