I'm about to buy my third FOB.

Just if anybody is curious with a two FOBs, you can reach combat level 94 (highest req to develop Battle Dress lvl 7) by filling your combat unit with S ranks, ten S+ and seven S++ soldiers, achieavable without being an FOB nut.

I was replaying Metallic Archaea and I apparently did something wrong/right. None of my equipment had rank restrictions listed on it.
The only things I did differently was I gave Quiet the Sinful Butterfly which I've never used, told her to stand down but had her shoot a Skull on command to kill him, and I suffered a serious injury and had to do the scream heal.

The Fulton recoveries appear to be based on checkpoints.
You can trigger checkpoints by crossing certain areas, returning to the ACC, completing a side-op, completing a regular mission, probably some other shit.
When the enemy is on alert there appears to be no checkpoints, at least during missions where it matters.

how do you get s++ and s+ on your fob for defense? I have 44 s++/s+ on security, no direct contracts and the security settings say it's s++-s+ yet the fob menu just says s and there's only s on the platforms.

I've noticed that the FOB Menu music glitches a bit now, so that it plays in the ACC even when I don't have my iDroid open, and honestly, it should always be this way. That music is great, and suits the ACC too, but you never hear past the first 20 seconds of it normally because you select an FOB mission.

that is a glitch, it may not affect gameplay, and isn't bad in anyway but it's still a glitch

So Grade 9 weapons are proof they're making new content for the game right? They were never mentioned in the game files pre-launch, but 7/8 were. Is there a chance of proper DLC happening then? Maybe they'll polish up the battle gear and have that added soon.

Yeah, except we've known that for ages. Every update they've pushed out has just added content we found in the files before now. Even Quiet's reunion was in there at launch. I'm saying the grade 9 weapons weren't in at launch, so they're probably newly made content, which probably means more is being made too.

So how's that Grade 7 Hand of Jehuty? I'm one level away from making it, what's the range like now? Is it actually decent?

This only started happening after the LA studio closed. Are you still on the development screen? Go to the sniper section and look at the very reasonable deployment cost of the grade seven MRS-71, which was one of the first grade seven weapons released. It's 14000 GMP.

Now go up once to look at the batshit insane deployment cost of the grade 7 bambadov, which was released in a later update. The stats are damn near identical and yet the bambadov has those insane costs.

Developers can exclude content until it's appropriate release date. This is normal for studios that want to keep users interested. They tend to have a roadmap of future updates/milestones.
