I do depending on what I'm using. The character regens 17hp a second and has only 10 vit so I usually don't have to bother about vials. ACB takes 2 of my actual bullets after tapping anyway so I use the formless oedon runes to get 16 casts of it

I think they count for the blade because they also end up as enemies later, it probably doesn't work on bosses.

works on roms spiderlings though, used it on one and saw them duke it out for a little, so theres that, but the time to use the blade ain't really worth it all things considered, especially with all the ads milling about.

I'll see if I can find a webm of me dodging that, all you have to do is roll forwards (towards her tail tentacles) you just have to spot it. She has four dangerous attacks there.

The first is the head slam which is why you need to keep enough stamina to attack once and roll afterwards

The second is one where she winds up and then spins like 90 degrees towards you, dodged by rolling towards her tail tentacles.

Third is the ACB in phase 2, just sprint around to avoid it and try to make it back to the spot without getting charged to death afterwards.

Fourth is an extremely rare tentacle flail she only does in phase 2. You have to get pretty far away from her not to get hit by it. Have seen it like 3 times in all my time fighting her.

I just find the desparity too great. the top spot is a guy with over 3k vermin. The next 3 are around 2k, the next 90~ are around 1k and then the next 500 are are around 200. Something just doesn't fit between those top few spots and the rest of the leaderboard, and its not its something new, when the covenant just came out, an hour in there was a guy with a 110 vermin and everyone else was around 4. I know he's not save scumming for sure, because like I said last time I mentioned this another anon said it could be save scumming so I tested it since I had a character with 10 vermin, I used the vermin, waited to show up on the leaderboard, then reloaded the save, it said I had 10 vermin, I used the 10 again and no matter how long I waited the leaderboard said 10, I reloaded the save for the third time, and I was back to 0 vermin on the leaderboard when I checked originally, but using those 10 vermin again for the third time brought me back up to 10 on the leaderboard.

There are three chalices that are dropped in the story. Pthumerian, Ailing Loran, and Isz.

To progress through them you'll need to go through the chalices to unlock the next one in line and pick up ritual materials that are in chests or dropped by enemies to keep making the next dungeon.

There are 4 "Areas" Pthumeru, Hintertomb, Loran, and Isz. Each area has a different tile set, enemy types, and most enemies will drop certain shaped gems.

Basically just start with the first one you get Pthumeru (from BSB) and keep completing them until you finish Lower Pthumeru. The next chalice after that needs a material you can only find in Ailing Loran.

There should be a speed run guide in the OP if you just want to get through it all as fast as possible.

It doesn't really matter too much because once you have a bit of familiarity with them, they're trivially easy. Hit them once or twice and then backstab while they scream at your framerate and they're dead.

Yeah, just yesterday I thought that shit when I got summoned for Amelia at bl15 and host decided to take a detour down to the two hunters, I went to charge my bow shot and acidentally pushed forward, ended up doing that jump attack with the simon's bowblade and flew right into the guy's jumping fist, one shot.

In all fairness though, I think anything outside of a boss one-shotting you is bullshit, I'm even fine with a hit taking 99% of your HP, but a re-spawning enemy to be able to one-shot you even when you're over-leveled for the area is bullshit (And I know that particular sackman is not respawning, but I'm just making a point unrelated to that particular experience)
