I only saw the ground one used a few times. But I saw them use it a few times to get out of the corner and the other players couldn't react fast enough. Its a fine game. I can see why it appeals to north american audiences more than BB. Its more grounded, and combos are shorter. Its also easier to play at a low to intermediate level (XRD at least) in my opinion. Its time for the comparison of the two series to end though. BB has survived for six years on its own, and doesn't look the be stopping even if GG is back. Its proven its more than just a GG replacement.

Honestly I was basing the comparison on when I played the first BB, everywhere you looked it was compared to GG and that GG was better. That left me pretty sour about GG fans, but I would give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe BB was easier or something. Either way I loved BB. a really big misconception is that GG is harder to play than BB. in reality GG is just a faster game with more difficult hitconfirms but much simpler offense/defense. the better you/the people you play with, the harder BB becomes in every respect but GG stays pretty similar in offense/defense due to how they work.

Nu's goal is actually less destructive and more rational than Litchi's. If you take into context who they are and what brought them to the tipping point, Nu's motivation also has a more proportional magnitude, so it's more sane.

Nu knew absolutely nothing but a life of horrible sadistic torture and the remnants of Saya within her reaching out to Ragna. So when subjected to all the horrors of mad science, she comes out a broken person clinging to the only happiness she ever had. It makes sense that she'd be so obsessed and fixated on Ragna.

Meanwhile Litchi was relatively well-adjusted and knew Roy for maybe a couple of years. They worked together, he was a bumbling born underling who folded to Kokonoe and became bitter and resentful at her, and she was infatuated with him because he was there I guess. They maybe dated or something? I don't remember, but they didn't have that much of a relationship before Roy went nuts. They certainly weren't married or anything. So her decision to literally destroy the entire world on the off chance that instating a psychopath as the architect of the new one would enable her to get back together with Roy is a wild escalation.

Furthermore, her means are more actively and watonly destructive. She willingly decides to ally herself with death incarnate and a megalomaniac in their bid to kill god and destroy the entire everything ever. She is in total control of her actions and decisions the entire time.

Nu doesn't have a choice in aiding the people who want to end the world. Her only real desire is to be together with Ragna forever, which as a side effect will bring about the Black Beast and wreak horrible destruction. But as the end of CS says, the Black Beast can be defeated. It certainly isn't comparable to blowing up everything that ever has been and ever will.

That's why I think as far as sheer lunacy goes, Litchi is crazier than Nu.

Pretty much what Nu was in CP mode change execpt with the different swords. I'm honestly convinced the only way to balance his size out is to use the Hihirokame, but you need to have Mushashi, and unless he goes full Sanji, I don't know how he would play without having to switch between them.

My only view of how he would play is broken if they were faithful to all his attributes.

First of all his Drive is the ability to switch places with the opponent. (Ridiculous mixup and zoning immunity.) To represent power instead of damage numbers his hits have enormous blowback, so in order to even combo hits you need to use Drive so they are now flying towards you. He has good reach all around him (two swords and two claws). Fast as Tao to offset bad pressure game. Way too small hurtbox unless they give him an aura since they don't want to give him his helmet. Very low health. Unblockables.

Jubei should never be playable. Everytime Arcsys makes a small character they make it as obnoxious as possible, because they know they're already annoying so they want to be funny about it.

i don't know if it matters but Izanami's VA is the guest of Blue Radio episode 10. It's due out sometime in January alongside ActII Nightmare Memories.

It's confirmed that the voice acting for the in game character matches and intros will be changed for this part of the arcade as well. Man, the BB cast has a lot of dubbing to do if even match quotes, arcade quotes and battle quotes are all different for each act. I wonder what kinda quotes will we get for regular matches in the console release.
