That's not at all how I imagined most of those races, but I love it.

I haven't played since release, how much good stuff did they add since then? Is cloaking still OP / Mandatory?

There was the release of an 'Advanced Edition' with more content and stuff.

Not sure about if cloaking was nerfed or not, though.

Cool cool. I just remember what a gigantic boon it was to have cloaking in the end fight. Don't think I ever completed a Normal run where I didn't use it.

If only there were a mechanic that sucked enemies into space when the doors were open. I know it would make it too easy to deal with boarders but still.

Maybe if you had to man the door system to open airlock doors? I don't know.
