Turns out I never took into account the format that the backups were made in Wizzard, which made mods that were a zip (ie. nodims like you said) compress into .zips
The fuckwit who made Wizzard also made them compress as 7z REGARDLESS of the format, so you have heaps of invalid zips and archives unless you rename them to the proper file extension

The fix is easy, although the aftermath is not. All this unstandardized shit means that I need to make new formats for both internal and configuration structures, which means pre6 is going to take that extra longer to make
Give me maybe 10-15 minutes to make a fix
I now understand why Hongfire is hated so much

for the experienced clothing modders, is there any requirement or reason to have a mesh 0 of a type before a mesh 1 of that same type? For example, do you need a bura00, or can you skip it and go right to bura01 and bura02 to help with sviex juggling?

I never mentioned any intent for a massive overhaul; not in the thread nor to the cuccboi. That wittol somehow felt compelled to speak of such a thing as if I had discussed the HEXAOC update with him.

I am really against any sort of broad reorganization, however I do realize that empty slots are becoming scarce. That is why any sort of reorganization will happen on a case by case basis, depending on whether or not we need to allocate slots for a particular future extra slot mods.

Ok, someone (not sure if cuck though) posted here about upcoming reorganization and I though that was you.
Imo it really needs more extensive reorganization. First thing that comes to mind: faces 8-10 not in slots 8-10 currently. Maker can see those slots fine and it would eliminate some "elf ears" questions and the need to use custom editors for those faces at least.
Also there's no perceived logic behind ordering of later slots but that's maybe because most of those faces are char-specific.
Broken cards are a non-issue because it's easily fixed with a ReiEdit plugin that just updates the faces slots to the new values (at least to my knowledge).

Easy to write a plugin that:
checks card's face slot value
if it was face 8-10 previous slot value change it to 8-10
do the same for any other moved face
card is fixed.

The only issues are that someone has to write said plugin, that if card's face is fine (i.e. with the new hexaoc's value) it would still update it and that it would only work for this particular update.

It is though. There's already a demo plugin that changes hair color for one selected or all loaded cards. Just change the logic a bit so that it changes faces instead, referencing some, possibly hardcoded list. The plugins are written in plain c++ so any highschooler should be able to do it. I'm not doing it because slots aren't reorganized.
