Fear is fucking broken as hell, it rarely breaks on damage, has no DR, and is insanely overpowered in PVP,

You don't level as a prot warrior.
Level as Fury until 40 with a 2H, always have a shield and 1H weapon ready to tank in dungeons.
If you really want to tank at 60 beyond dungeons, look for a new guild which just started raiding. If you respec Fury and gather all your pre raid BiS gear (which is a ton) you might be able to join guilds that have all content on farm.

Because in comparison to warriors, they do. But that doesn't mean they can't tank or do their specific job very well. They are great AoE tanks and can still do most things a warrior can, albeit to a much worse degree and only with geat dedication. But if you just want to tank, you'll either want a warrior tank, or want to be a warrior tank in most scenarios.

Prot pallies can, through great dedication and buff stacking, be good enough to tank 20-mans consistantly. They excel at AoE tanking more than any other class in vanilla and priests love them.

However, you have no taunt and redoubt is 100% useless (you have to be crit to proc it, and you shouldn't be crit in raids). You also run the fuck out of mana due to conc spam, so you drink like the thirstest of mages at all times. Don't expect to tank in BWL very much but for some fights you're a godsend.
