Has anyone ever made a Control Reno deck?

And I'm not talking about the generic Warrior Control decks that have shield slam and whatnot.

I mean Control Reno deck, that has cards that when played, can counter anything.

Stampeding Kodo for example when played to kill any Mad Scientist or Change Your Mind targets, The Black Knight to instantly kill taunt minions, Mind Control tech, etc.

I imagine this kind of deck would work best with Paladin in conjunction with Follow the Rules and the new Ulduar card.

What other cards could you think of that would fit in this type of deck? Hemet would almost be considered but all I can think of his counter would be a Haunted Creeper.

Suprisingly amazing if you have board control. If you have scientist or Elekk on the board you can ruin the game for some classes. Pulling out their Cleric/Trogg and killing it with your Elekk which seeks to live another day in combination with the Camel/Webspinner means that they lost the board for turns to come. Also deadly shot is fucking amazing for anti-aggro decks - Highmane from Deathlord spells good game.

Not-so-quick question for you /hsg/.

In the WoW:TCG the way Naxxramas worked was that you actually "entered" a wing, and using the same deck you had to beat every single boss in the wing. You had two other friends with you, making them all 3 on one battles, but you never got to reshuffle your deck or reset the board state between battles.

To balance this out, the Raid boss drew a random event card every turn, there were 20 of them, 15 of which outright bad for the players, and 5 of which either neutral or positive outcomes.
The raid deck also had powerful effects for really low costs, similar to the heroic modes.

And to make it even harder on the players, each wing had a set of rules allowing the Raid boss to cast certain spells every turn, or influence the way the games played.
The Frostwyrm lair had special rules altogether that didn't work like the rest of the raid, but you weren't allowed to enter it unless you cleared at least one wing first (your decks and board states reset between wings, so it was more just a test to make sure your team could actually keep its shit together).

You could do as many wings as you wanted before the Frostwyrm Lair, and the reason you would want more wings is because of the rewards.
For clearing the Arachnid wing, you got +1 Spell Damage for the rest of the raid, for clearing the military wing you got +1 Attack/Defense on all weapons/armor, for clearing the plague wing all of your minions got +1/+1, and for clearing the Construct Wing, every 3 turns you could use your hero power again (hero powers worked differently)

I know that Blizzard avoided having the raids work like this for the reason that it would require recoding of the game, which given the Mechazod brawl we can see they still have no idea how to do, but do you think there would have actually been a market for the raids still if they functioned with the bigger and wilder mechanics?

Against priest as early as possible keep in mind if they run auchenai they can do about 14 damage with justicar if they haven't used any flash heals.

Against warrior is a little difficult because of grom, you also want to force him to brawl as early as possible, if hes holding it save your taunt givers till he uses it. If the warrior is stupid and uses grom before Jaraxxus you already won, if hes holding it make sure you can stay about 12hp if hes holding deathsbite make sure you have a taunt up at all times eventually he will get overwhelmed

Paladin same as priest, and you don't Jaraxxus vs aggro you just heal through it till they concede.

Museum curator is amazing because it works for both aggro and control, 8/10 you will get a chance for a legendary, you should also put in Elise to help, but just because you draw monkey doesn't mean you instantly play it

Play the deck for more than 5 minutes before you give up on it, I was around 45% winrate with it a week ago, now I'm about 75, getting a shit opening hand vs aggro is the only way I really lose, and also freeze mage is insta loss because I don't run flash/naaru in my list.

Blackwing Corrupter is to dragon decks, what Mad Scientist is to secret decks.
You play those decks because of how good he is at keeping it moving.

Imp Gang Boss is in all warlock decks atm.

raven idol is a really great card but druid as a class is too tied to the combo for it to be run. you don't want to draw into random minions or spells, you want to draw into your deck to further your aims of killing them on turn 9.

Anyone feel like they're forced to play a class they never intended to play/like?

I've been doing pretty good with Druid, however I hate them the most along with Priests. Ideally I would love to play a Rogue, but I hate how the whole Combo system works and feels like its more work with less payoff.

Druid feels so smooth with the mana curving and mana boosting for unfair drops - however I never intended to want to play a Druid in the first place.

I play paladin ever since he was weak and I love it. I really found my purpose in life.
It's a straightforward class that at this point in the game allows for both fun and easy steamrolling of your opponents. No, I didn't make a secretard deck yet because I don't think it's fun and I'm doing okay in ranked with typical midrange shit. But I'm in the process of making a murloc deck, just need to get Old Murk-Eye, because playing Anyfin Can Happen on turn 10 is fun as fuck.
Tried to play Rogue and Mage because people used to tell me back then they were the best classses, but got bored of their playstyles.

After saving up and re-rolling, I have 2 "warlock and X" quests and a "win 3 as any quest" quest.

I also just completed a temp job assignment and my final exams so I'm on winter break now and drunk as F U C K.

Give me a warlock deck to play, /hsg/. As long as it can win at least 2 games in an hour I don't care what it is. The only caveat is other people on /hsg/ have to accept it, if everyone calls it shit I won't play it, but otherwise it can be as fun and/or wacky as you want.
