SnS isn't really technical but it isn't easy to use (effectively) either. On the other hand its damage is also fairly high, certainly higher than most of the weapons on the middle line; You probably misplaced it out of an innate misunderstanding of the weapon on account of it being presented as a beginner's weapon in-game or because you're just not very good at it. It basically goes smack in the middle of the graph and maybe a bit to the right, the way you have it arranged.

Going by times, bow should also be a bit lower on damage.

And LBG is about as technical as HBG so I don't know why you have it higher up.

CB for example is extremely technical but also one of the easiest weapons to use, while hammer is very basic but somewhat difficult to use (in my experience in both instances, obviously).

Something that is technical is, by definition, one than isn't easy to use.

Ryu is a straight forward character. So is Ken. They are easy to use and are often forwarded as beginner's characters due to their ease of use.

Does the monster have lots of harder zones that you'll be hitting often (by accident)? Mind's Eye coating. For monsters like Tamamitsune, or Zamtrios (in rage) or Agnaktor (in rage) or Nargacuga or Seregios (so that you don't bounce off the wings).

I find exhaust to be better than affinity in most cases. If it's a monster where you're hitting the head a lot, you'll get 1-2 stuns per hunt, especially if you land some good shoryukens. Even if you aren't attacking the head you do a ton of exhaust damage which can tire monsters out quickly and lets you get in a ton of damage.

Armor skills are not balanced, it is near impossible to find decent armor until HR6
The defense gets way too high and ruins any form of challenge

It's better than P3rd but honestly any Mh game is better than P3rd

some like affinity but I don't find it useful. Start off with exhaust, then after a stun or two depending on monster and ease of head access switch to flinch. Monster will be spaghetting everywhere.

Well, I guess that's what an open beta test is for. I haven't even started yet, I think it's trying to download the .38 patch. It's trying to download something but it's getting 0B/s and after about twenty seconds it brings that up. Clicking what I assume is "yes" takes me to the client download page. This was the case with a different dialog I was getting before, but I manually downloaded all the way up to .37 and then it changed to that; .38 isn't available for manual download from what I can tell, though there's an announcement about it on the launcher.

The translator you're using is horrible. It can't differentiate between a character and a word phrase.

The thing you're translating is "(monster) hunter accelerator" but what it actually is is it has nothing to do with monsters, it lowers your ping to the server. The chinese love to use this shit for just about every online game they play since shitty internet.

As for the translation, 怪狩, it's abbreviated from 怪物猎人 which means literally monster(怪物) hunter(猎人). The translator doesn't know that and fucks up royally because 怪 has another meaning of "to blame" when used in a completely different context as a verb instead of a noun.
