Fucking Simon's Bowblade makes amy a joke. And mind you this is Professional origin with base skill and only enough bloodtinge (9) to be able to equip it. I am interested in buying a PS4 for Bloodborne. There is a copy of "Bloodborne: Game of the Year Edition" at my local store.

I have some questions:

1. Is there anything different with this GOTY edition? Like extra bonuses I get?

2. Is the GOTY edition the latest patch? Or do I have to download newer patches? Do I get the DLC included? Or do I still have to buy that? Also, if I want to download patches/DLCs, do I need to pay for online or can I just download the patches with my WiFi without paying for PS+?

3. The GOTY edition on sale seems to be the Asia region version. Should I get it? I've heard that Asia region games tend to be the worst regions as they don't have the best patch support.

I'm making shit up to be rough, but fire and bolt are both good on kin and beasts, just one favours the other and vice versa

Of course the Bowblade will be good for vanilla game bosses. None of the bosses in the vanilla game were balanced around a bow user in mind.

FROM probably didn't think of adding a bow until after the game was done and they decided to make DLC. The DLC bosses fare better against a bowblade user, but not by that much.

Amy just doesn't have any moves that are threatening to a good bowblade user. That S-shaped ground laser is too easy to avoid to pose any threat.

Yeah I think apart from the story chalices, they're pretty good. I mean honestly they should have scrapped a lot of the depth 1 ~ 3 dungeons and just made dungeons end-game content.

What was From's thinking in not making all chalice bosses random?

Having a brainsucker as the layer 3 boss of a dungeon could've been cool, like it spawns 3 of them or something

You fight 2 piggies on layer 3, A keeper and it's dogs on layer 3 etc etc.

Shit, if they're going to make shit like Brainsucker etc be a boss, why not the Sackmen? Should've just been almost totally random with any enemy in the game being a boss at any time.

It's kind of lame knowing every 3rd layer boss is basically always Elder, Parrl, Bloodletting or Amy most of the time, also limits gems. Getting abyssal radiants or strikings might have been interesting.

I'm thinking of making a pvp video, and to make it interesting, I try recording myself with an interesting: aggressive yomi-ing, no healing, and precise parries. But I lose a majority of the time this way.

Contrast that with an in-and-out style, healing, poking, and backing off where I am more successful. It's probably my skill that prevents me from doing the other style, but is it right to say the game is made to be played this way and what I'm trying to do is stupid?

Yeah, it's definitely up there with The Boss fight in MGS3 and the Vergil boss fight in DMC3 as the three best final boss fights in an action game.

Flat damage on the kos parasite is what you want if you're looking to use the barefist moveset damage, or to max the AOE damage

it's not as good for everything else, but it's not THAT much worse if you get good flats. I personally went flats because I like being able to do the fisty thing every now and then

Well you're going to have to get a regular Cold Abyssal anyway, literally the only difference is the type of chalice. It's just nicer with the Uncanny version because you can get it to do decent damage pretty quickly.

You will probably have to do multiple runs of the boss so just savescum.

If there are any spelunkers out there, I just cracked open a fresh crf isz so I can get to farming. Great lake in the pre-lantern area, and only an arcane gem in the pre-boss area. But there's also a beast possessed soul in the pre-boss area that you can have fun with by tugging him into the next room and watching him clear it for you. No idea what the boss is.

Get yourself that 70 ARC and then min stats for any weapons you want to use (wheel, pizza) and deck them out with arc gems.

With 70ARC, Cold Abyssals are pure INSANITY. I have a 600 pure bolt AR stake driver that attacks so fucking fast and melts people in a heartbeat.

Thanks to the two guys who basically killed Watchdog for me. I hate how all the Defiled Chalice bosses are based around oneshots - not so bad when I was the cooperator and going in for Rakuyo hits not caring if I die or not, but when you're the host and the AOE oneshots you it's a different story.
