the american ones are good tier 5 and up, british ones have great arks and the top tier has amazing alpha, the french are all really accurate and reload pretty fast as well as the tier 10 being an autoloader, russian arty is about big guns until tier 10 were it has fast accurate quick firing shells. the germans are pretty meh exept for the 5-7.

there really is no "best" arty line, they are all offer something a little different

Look at WT, light tanks have use, and you can snipe those little faggots. De-rendering things and still allowing them to hit you is straight up retarded. Hurr hiding in a bush makes you completely invisible. It was also from across the map as well so that argument of yours is kinda moot. Had just left spawn and gotten maybe 5-600 meters from it and went over a sand dune and dropped to 20/200 health. Backed up behind the dune, turned a little and apparently the top of my turret was showing and I got nuked, was a T-28 hiding across the map. Guess I'll just go back to the semi-realistic at least less arcade-ey tank game. Probably gonna try again tomorrow.

The gun is fine in-tier, the problem is tier 4 in this game scales horribly. Suddenly you get into tier 5 and you can't even pen the side of KV-1 without spamming APCR.

I haven't played in a very long time, but I wanted to try playing again. I have 2 tier 6 tanks, the jagdpanzer iv and the VK 36.01, but I feel completely useless in every single game.

Yes. The whole Soviet tree doesn't require any skill to play, and feel very comfy except the SPG line. The IS-3 line, passing through the KV-1, is good because it's the right mix of armor, mobility, firepower, and soviet bias. You can't go wrong.

EU and RU are both alive and kicking, I think on these two clusters WoT will live long and prosper for at least another 2~4 years, maybe more if WG gets illuminated by the Holy Spirit and stop fucking up everything, especially on the map design.

Newcomers are discouraged because we all know a casual shouldn't invest in this fucked up frustrating game, unless they really want to for their own reasons (e.g. They really love tanks and want to play with them at all costs), regardless of whether it's a dying game or not.

You have to keep in mind that WoT is still the best tank game on the market: I've tried WT:GF and while it's better under some points of view, deep inside it's much worse and much more fucked up on a development level than WoT; AW is DoA, and probably it will take the same time to get fixed and started up properly than for WoT to die on EU.

I got the urge to play a MMORPG for a couple months a while back, and there were people everywhere yet nobody really talking beyond explaining game mechanics during bosses. Friendly chat with strangers seems to be a dead concept, and people only talk with their friends and clans. I couldn't play AW for 2 weeks and played it for the first time again today. After 10 games I uninstalled AW because I couldn't get a same tier match in my tier 5s any more, as the entire playerbase seems to have moved on to tier 6 and 7.

I really hope they'll fix the game and put some pressure on WoT but right now I'm not seeing it.

According to vbaddict the net income of the premium IS-2 is shit, and comparable to the one of the IS-6 (roughly 10k credits per battle).

The best moneymakers are the FCM 50 t, T34, AMX CDC, and the Löwe, not counting those you can't buy. The CDC is probably the one with the best cost/performance ratio, if you care ONLY about moneymaking (and not for instance to train a crew for a line you're interested in), but I suggest to not think about the costs and focus more to your preferences in playstyle since all the tanks I've mentioned earn approximately the same, but behave quite differently on the battlefield.

This is just a meme: it earns as much as the other tier VIII premiums (without the IS-6), but it feels like driving a brick in the mud and it doesn't even have a turret, so once flanked you're as good as dead. DPM is insane, frontal armor is very good when hull down (except when people start slinging gold at you), and you can train crew for two German TD lines, though.

I'm more like front-line opportunist that can't rely on armor, I go aggro when I can out dpm my opponents in straight 1on1 (I really got a boner for this kind of thing since I started playing A43). I loved singling out is3 players and mauling them into submission in full-frontal 1on1.

CW 2.0 killed a lot of the former top clans. Between SH grind burnout and no longer being able to sit on 10k gold a day doing nothing, a lot former top clans either quit or turned into tournament clans since the payouts are now far better.

I've only played a few games with it now and this is easily the most braindead easy 'tank' to do well with I've ever played in this game. Even the pre-nerf FV304 at least to be within ~450m. This just sits comfy in the back of the spawn with laser accuracy and a RoF that isn't far off from the M4 105mm.
