I have no idea how the stealth killing bonus in this game works. I pick Ivara, go full cloak mode sniping everything with a bow and half the kills dont count as stealth kills even though I do not alert anybody.

projectiles like arrows CAN put enemies into "suspicious" alert state if they hit something or ragdoll a body or something inside their vision cone, or they can actually make noise I think

until recently, enemies would become suspicious or even fully alert if they saw their allies die inside their vision cone, but they recently reverted to an older kind of behavior where they'll comically just route around their collapsing allies... but either way, it is wise to take care when selecting your targets and the order in which you kill them if you want to maintain that 8x mutliplier (yes it only says 500% and that value is factored into the bonus, but truly on the 6th kill and beyond it is 8x for ranged and 10x for melee)

it's also possible you're killing enemies less than 5 seconds after they've spawned, which, thanks to yet another heavyhanded kneejerk reaction to address a symptom instead of a problem regarding stealth affinity/focus farming, now disqualifies enemies from being eligible for your stealth chain - so make sure you have eyes/radar on a target for at least 5s before you kill it

so invisiliki, I recently dropped my Fleeting for a Coaction to work my ES up to that ~.8/sec... though I'm still expending a little over 1/sec with my max duration build, having that extra six seconds of uptime feels like a huge quality of life change, and I always end up picking up the few energy orbs per mission it takes to maintain against that deficit

with the submarine helm it would very very nearly break even, maybe consistently when considering the short delay between recasts, but I prefer swindle for swag and range

am I doing it wrong? is there a better way? what happens if DE reworks liki and makes his invis a toggle?

Basically the things the game is balanced around.
That being: The Star Chart and Void Towers up to Wave 20, Minute 20 or Round 4 of endless missions on Void 4.
After this, enemy armor and damage scalesfar beyond the point where most equipment thrives and dealing any damage requires 4x CP, solid CC frames and more thought than none at all since a lot of enemies can instantly kill you from range.
Sorties are technically DEAC but some enemies there will scale past what the game is thought around (namely sortie survival and defenses)

Building off that, what about a nightmare-based frame? You know, where you're in a dream, and you want to run, but you can't. That sort of "I'm about to be murdered" fear that locks you in place.

I'm drawing inspiration from "nightmare tropes", for lack of a better word. Said nightmare tropes would include:

>perpetually running away from a relentless and never-tiring predator
>that fucking creepy thing where everyone stops and stares at you without speaking, like antibodies in Inception

>Fear Grasp -
Lock an enemy in place with fear, and leave them open to finishers, unable to attack. Can be recast, has a fast animation. Will wear off after duration is up (individual timer for each enemy).

Sort of like Clowntide. You move at a slowed walking speed, unable to attack, but would also cover more ground with each step moreso than you would if you were running, of course.
For each enemy you have locked down, you cover 10% more ground with each step, and gain a 20% dodge chance.

>Unabating -
Dreadframe marks all targets in a 15m or so radius, causing them to attempt to flee.
If they cannot distance themselves by 25m from Dreadframe after 15 seconds, they vanish (die).

>4th ability?
Mark a single enemy as a target.
Said target is frozen in place, and all enemies within 35m will enter a trance state.
>In said trance state -
Tranced enemies will slowly walk to marked target. Once all tranced enemies reach within 15m of said target, they will crowd around target (ideally obscuring it from player view), and cause it to vanish.

TL;DR:

>1 - single-target lockdown, used for second/third ability
>2 - potentially take no damage/move faster
>3 - kill all in a radius, regardless of level, but work has to be put into it

He means things like the wacky wild characters like 'Clem' or Ordis and a lot of scenarios you're put in being played off as a funny situation. The whole 'kickass space ninjas' is the major theme warframe gets stuck with, the dark tone the story (or what exists of one) wants to be being shoved off to the side.

Personally I wouldn't mind a comedic relief character or two and maybe a few funny scenes, but in general I wish this game had a darker tone overall rather than a dark tone in retrospect.
