I'm a guy with a strong PC, a WiiU, and few scruples. I want to play all the Sonic games I haven't already, but I don't know the best way to play them. My PC's more than capable of GCN-era emulation or lower, or I could pick up the ports, if they're any good, or I can grab them on the VC if that's a good option. I'm specifically interested in playing:

Sonic 2
Sonic 3 and Knuckles
Sonic Adventure 1 & 2
Sonic Heroes
Shadow the Hedgehog
Sonic 06

I know that'll have to borrow someone's 360 or PS3 for the last one, but I know there are several ways to play all the others, and I don't know which is the best. Cheers.

Emulate 2 and Sonic 3 Complete.
The Dreamcast version of 1 is the best version but the Steam version isn't offensive, just a little more unstable than the original. Same goes for 2.
You can emulate Heroes but I'm not too sure on how stable it is in emulation.
Emulate Shadow on Dolphin.
The 360 version of Sonic 06 has marginally faster load times and that's literally it.

I like it. It makes female characters feel more balanced since their torsos don't work like male torsos do and inherently don't work as well with pure Sonic proportions, especially on females that are wearing tighter clothing like Bunnie or Sally. Look at King Max, though at least I believe King Max loves his family dearly. I genuinely think Locke doesn't love Knuckles and just views him as a Guardian instead of his son, and that emotional detachment could've made for a great story, but nope

Ian kinda did the same thing with Mina and Tails' mother. Although he did attempt to have it make sense at least. And I'm hoping that he was eventually planning on a redemption arc for the entirety of the CoA because they were nothing be rage-worthy for me. It's not even because they did their intended job to the reader. It's mostly because Ian used them as a cheap plot device so that he could pull the King Naugus shit and explain why the heroes didn't do anything about it.

I don't see her face turning, since she's in a position of power that allows her to keep her friends and the people of Shamar safe. If she left, what's not to say Eggman wouldn't just hire someone incredibly ruthless? The only Egg Bosses I see leaving are Cassia and Clove, and I don't see that happening for a long fucking time (And I'd bet on one of them dying before they get the chance)

Something I think some people overlook is that the Egg Bosses don't necessarily have to like Eggman, but they tolerate him so they can get what they want (more power, territorial control, resources, etc). Neph is all about keeping the balance so keeping things from changing as much as possible would be in her best interest. I can see conflict coming from Cassia eventually wondering why they aren't making their move yet because Clove doesn't want to endanger her.
