Anyway not many corps talk in corp chat, usually you need to download jabber and voice coms. You'll get a message on jabber when something is happening, like a fleet going up, and you'll usually have people to talk to in fleet chat / on voice.

I can't speak for Brave specifically, this is just in general.

pandemic horde is very active. honestly they are a good option for getting into pvp quickly. brave used to be good, then it was kinda shitty for a long time, then it fell apart and now it's rebuilding itself.

pandemic horde is comparatively large, and is close to being "the good guys" atm in the sov shitstorms going on. all-out is active, but small - like, seven or eight guys online or ready to go any time. a lot of people say you learn more in a small group than a large one, but most large newbro groups at least attempt to have classes or small fleets to sort of simulate that.

also all-out is pretty strongly 4chan based and none of the others are, if that makes any difference to you one way or the other.

I urge you to start a trial account and play like a newbie for a week or two. Try to get some nullsec solo frig PvP like a newbie would and you'll get eaten up by sebo destroyers, orthrus, svipul, garmur, etc. PLEX is no longer attainable for newbies, only the biggest cancers with shittons of chimera ratting alts who are the reason PLEX became so expensive in the first place.

Stomping on the solo experience directly stomps on the newbie experience. You don't start the game with the connections you'll have in a year.
