go into your mods folder and search "cityview.lua" or just "lua"
if you see more than 1 of the same exact .lua file, you have to remove the parent mods until only 1 mod uses it

G&K just proved to me how paradoxical modern Firaxis is sometimes. Vanilla Civ 5 was clearly inferior and simplified compared to Civ 4, but the religion added in G&K is superior to what was in 4.

But I'm still pissed that they took out almost all of the information you could see in cities, in 4 you could micromanage your economy way better than in 5

Begun a new game with roving clans, quite like em but you got any tips ?
Atm focusing mostly on building my cities with lots of industry/food and teching up. My plan is by round 100 have 4 towns ( got 3 atm) and then start pillaging/fucking everyone with privateers and amass dust.

your factions units are fast and mobile, but not super strong. if you're not constantly moving like a retard with your calvarys charge, they're shit. otherwise your archer and infantry are alright
dont forget your privateers are better than others, but only with health. so get strong frail ones, or massive tanks, and maybe one healer for the army. you dont want to be bringing it back to heal up or regear, because they're stuck with the gear they have

I am trying to use the Ethnic units modpack together with modded in civilizations, and followed the advice here http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=506901

And for a few modded civs it will work, but for most it wont. Can it be that I have to many modded in civilizations? I think i am around 12-15 such civs by now.

I know this worked in the past, but I had fewer civs back then.

Will I have to make a own artbracket for each civ to make it work? cause then i will have to edit all the units too and that will really suck.

The only strange thing: Settlers work. Other units dont, but settler will have the culture look I put the civ into in the artstyle

Related, why have so many people fallen for the "civ 5 combat is so much more le complex than le stupid stacks of doom" meme? I assume half of these people haven't even played IV, and the other half played it about 2 hours before quitting out of frustration because they were too retarded to find out what collateral damage is.

Stacks of doom provided a drawn out grindfest, and the arguments in the image are retarded. It was a conscious design decision to not let multiple workers on the same tile and it had nothing to do with the One Unit Per Tile system, since you can still stack a worker/settler/missionary/great person with a military unit. Therefore it would have been very easy to just let workers stack. And 5's tactical thinking stems from using the terrain on a wider scope instead of a couple of hills and forests.

The thing is stacks of doom don't exist, or are at least nowhere near as game-breaking as it's made out to be, as collateral damage is a very effective counter to them. If you want a real example of unstoppable death stacking, civ 3 had no collateral damage at all and very large stacks were pretty much impossible to take down while in Civ 4 all you need is some siege weapons and especially bombers.

What's the point of the Expansion Victory in Endless Legend? Seems like if you're getting anywhere close of owning 80% of the map you pretty much won already.
