If I'd try to make one I'd probably start with something like Andersen/Hassan/Robin.
Andersen to keep the HP and buffs coming, plus helping the other two generate crit stars with the innocent monster skill and with crit damage as well. Hassan to generate the stars to help out with damage and np gain and Robin as the guy with highest crit weight pulling out the big numbers as often as possible. Lacks in aoe department but makes up for it with criticals and I imagine bosses would melt when faced with Robin's and Hassan's NPs.

Top Team will have a more recognizable power structure. While Tokiomi might be a prissy bitch and Zouken will have some ulterior motive they'll both be willing to defer to Darnic and allow him to coordinate their team's efforts. Meanwhile Bottom Team is made up of loose cannons like Kairi and Shiki, lone wolves like Ciel, and scheming backstabbing faggots like Kohaku and Kirei. Kayneth will likely end up in 'command" but won't have the respect of any of his teammates besides, perhaps, Fiore.

The initial skirmishes will almost certainly be a disaster for Top Team, as Bottom Team has supreme defensive capability between Gawain, George, and Leonidas. However, Atilla's military prowess will certainly allow Top Team to survive that initial encounter. Lu Bu's ferocity will outstrip Asterios's, Chiron's marksmanship will keep Arjuna's deadly arrows in check while the others fight, and Cuchulainn's unending energy will allow him to keep up even with invincible foes like Gawain and George.

From there the problem for Bottom Team will be coordinating their efforts. Darnic will know from the initial encounter the greatest threats from Bottom Team being the servants Caster and Rider, at least in terms of strategic value, and will move to eliminate them. He will send Hassan to accomplish this, but she will stopped by George, whose purity shields him from her alluring nature. She will survive, but Zouken will fake her death and secede from the war to pursue his own agenda.

Darnic will then use Gilles and his spellbook to bolster their numbers with his abominations, to the displeasure of St. Martha, as well as to Waver and Tokiomi. But Kayneth will be too confident after their battle and will be eager to show off the power of his Team, and will lead them into a direct confrontation. Darnic's superior coordination lets Top Team fend off their attackers, and more importantly allows the Masters to get in close with one another.

Shiki and Ciel engage Bazett and Aoko, but are unable to gain an advantage, Aoko's magic being too strong for Ciel to counter and Bazett too quick for Shiki to kill.

In the chaos and confusion of the battle, however, Kirei kidnaps Akiha, and retreats from the battle, his sudden disappearance causing Kayneth to panic and forcing a retreat. Kirei intends to use Akiha as a sacrifice to strengthen Carmilla, her being a virgin girl and Assassin's favorite type. To his displeasure, though, Kohaku was aware of his intentions and clued Kairi Sisigou in on what was happening. Kairi kills the priest and Asterios kills Carmilla, freeing Akiha before her demise. He then leaves Bottom Team and defects to the other side out of disgust, Kohaku following them for Akiha's sake. Gawain personally swears justice upon them for betraying their allies, unaware of Kirei's intentions.

Bottom Team appears doomed, but Kayneth is visited by Zouken, who offers to join his side in exchange for first dibs on the Grail. Kayneth is naturally desperate, having just lost half his team, and accepts the offer. Zouken then returns to Top Team, they being unaware of his defection, and calls Darnic for a secret meeting, wherein Serenity Hassan murders him and causes Gilles to disappear.

With Top Team now headless, Bottom Team takes the initiative and attempts to sabotage them. Zouken teaches Shakespeare about Top Team and helps him use First Folio to properly manipulate them, sending images of Iskander to Waver and luring him out into the open, where Arjuna attempts to snipe him. He kills Lu Bu easily, however Kayneth stops him from killing El-Melloi after the realization of just who Waver is, and a moment of pride in his student and successor overcomes his desire to win the war. Zouken murders Kayneth for wasting the opportunity to remove an enemy Master and takes Arjuna for himself, using his magics to disguise himself as Kayneth.

Gawain has pledged himself to Fiore wholly, the rest of his team be damned, and is determined to earn her the Grail and grant her simple wish, so against the behest of "Kayneth" he and St. George approaches the enemy camp;

Gawain demands that any who dare to call themselves honorable accept his challenge. Cuchulainn and St. Martha accept the call and take the field. Cu battles Gawain while Martha battle George. The latter fight goes poorly, and George's affinity for dragon-slaying allows him to kill Martha handily, but he refuses to interfere in Cu and Gawain's fight, which goes the opposite direction. While Numeral of the Saint makes Gawain all but invincible in the sunlight, Cuchulainn is a faster and more ferocious opponent that uses his momentum. And when the sun goes down, Cu takes the advantage and nearly kills Gawain, only stopping when Fiore enters the battlefield and begs Gawain not to throw his life away for her sake. Cu takes pity on the crippled Master, having never been able to resist a pretty girl, and lets Gawain life. But as he turns and moves to re-enter Top Team's fortress, a sniping shot from Arjuna strikes him through the head and kills him instantly. This is the turning point for Gawain, who immediately renounces Bottom Team and with Fiore defects.

Unfortunately for Top Team, Tokiomi reveals his true colors as a collaborator with Zouken, and assaults their fortress from within. Kairi and Asterios activate the Labyrinth to try and trap Tohsaka and Saber within it, but Atilla's Noble Phantasm easily shatters it, slaying Berserker in the process and allowing them to leave.

The final showdown begins as Waver, Aoko, Bazett, Kairi and Akiha, along with Chiron, Leonidas and Gawain prepare to do battle with Zouken, Ciel and Shiki with George, Arjuna, Atilla, Hassan and Shakespeare.

Leonidas meets with Atilla on the field outside Bottom Team's fortress and they do battle while the others head inside.

Her Sword of Mars is an undeniable offense that he cannot guard against, but he activates his Noble Phantasm when it strikes him, dividing the damage among he and his 300 Spartans. He is the only survivor, but the counter-attack is so great thanks to the incredible damage of Attila, Saber is instantly slain. Lancer only lasts a few moments longer before disappearing himself, leaving the rest to his allies.

Zouken's fortress is a mess of worms and unsightly things, corrupted since the rest of Bottom Team left, but Gawain is able to carve them a path through it. Ultimately Ciel is waiting for them, revealing herself to be the Dead Apostle Roa. Akiha, Aoko and Kohaku battle her, working in tandem to defeat her. Unfortunately Shakespeare is there as well, and with the aid of First Folio confounds the others long enough for Shiki to arrive. She easily destroys Akiha's demon hair, and would have killed her as well, but Kohaku takes the hit for her and dies. Aoko kills Shiki and Ciel, while Waver pursues Shakespeare. Akiha is overcome with grief and uses her lifeforce to revive Kohaku at the cost of her own health, and she falls unconscious. Aoko stays behind to watch over them, and Kairi goes ahead of the rest to soften up Zouken’s defenses.

As Top Team moves further in St. George and Gawain meet and share their opinions on honor and duty with one another. St. George will be disappearing shortly with his Master dead, but agrees to fight Gawain, accepting his righteous desire to avenge his rival Cuchulainn's death upon Bottom Team. They fight, and though he lacks Numeral Gawain is able to use Excalibur Galatine to overpower George's offensive form of Ascalon, slaying Rider.

Waver corners Shakespeare, who attempts to use First Folio to recreate the figures who looked down upon Waver in his past--Gilgamesh, Iskander, and Kayneth, and others. But Waver brushes them off and admits their scorn and trials made him into a much better person than the self-pitying sadsack he was before. Shakespeare is impressed at the culmination of Waver's development through his life, and allows Waver to take his life as he deems appropriately climactic.

Bazett, Gawain, Fiore and Chiron finally reach Zouken, who is guarded by Arjuna. Tokiomi has already been subsumed by the Grail, which Zouken is feeding with the bodies of the fallen Masters. Kirei, Darnic, even Shiki and Ciel's bodies have been moved into its great mass. Gawain attacks Zouken while Bazett and Chiron, who is rapidly losing form from the weakness of his Master, fight Arjuna.

Arjuna's marksmanship is supreme, but Chiron shoots down his arrows while Bazett strikes at close distance. Bazett goads him and mocks him for the cowardly way in which he struck down Cuchulainn, reminding him of his own dishonorable behavior in life, spurring him to activate his Noble Phantasm, Gandiva. This was the opening Bazett wanted, and she uses Fragarach to kill him.

Gawain, meanwhile, has been so weakened from fighting George that he is unable to stop Zouken Matou, who easily defeats him by using his worms as a catalyst to direct the mud of the Holy Grail and curse Saber. He turns his attention to Bazett and Chiron, the latter of whom dies deflecting a fatal gout of cursed mud towards Bazett, having already been on the verge of disappearing. Bazett attempts to strike at Zouken but is stopped by Hassan, who plants a kiss on her lips and paralyzes her with poison. Zouken declares victory all but assured, and orders Bazett and Gawain to be thrown into the Grail to feed it;

But Fiore suddenly activates her mystic code, Bronze-Link Manipulators, and leaps from her wheelchair, grabbing ahold of Zouken and holding him in front of the great Grail, then uses all of her command seals to force Gawain to use his Noble Phantasm on her. Against his shouting protests, Saber activates Excalibur Galatine and prepares to swing, but in the last second Fiore feels her arms wrenched away and her body tossed aside by Kairi Sisigou, who grabs hold of Zouken in her place. There is a tremendous flash of sunlight as Kairi, Zouken and the Grail are caught up in the holy sword's light, and then nothing.

In the aftermath, it is seen that all the Servants have disappeared. Only Aoko, Waver, Bazett, Kohaku, Fiore and Akiha remain. Bazett decides to return to the Association with Waver to see that no further plans for a Holy Grail War will be made. Aoko and Kohaku make a decision to seek out Aoko's sister, Touko, and try to convince her to find a way to return life to Akiha.
