With vWii on the Wii U, when playing games on the gamepad can you actually control with the gamepad as well or do you have to be using another controller?

RXTools has a pasta mode, right? And this mode is safe to use sysupdater from, right? I heard gateway and rxtools in rx-mode are not safe to update from and that their firmware spoofing that's built-in can cause a brick. Also, if you're paranoid of bricking your wii by installing a bad .wad file, you can also make a emunand that is similar to the 3ds one. Not really too much of a big deal since you can install priiloader.

I think Ninjhax needs the browser to be installed. I don't know if 2.5 does too when using the Ninjhax entrypoint, so I guess you might try, but I actually wonder why you don't use FBI and install the browser instead.

So I've not been following the 3ds homebrew scene for awhile. I'm on 9.9, and I did grab Ironfall before it was taken down though, and I do have a copy of OoT laying around. Just blocked the browser thing and am going to attempt browserhax and see if I'm safe.

It'd be nice to just be able to clear Ironfall off my 3DS for more room. Although I really should just look into a bigger card and transfer everything to it. Thanks. And yeah I'm hoping browserhax will work. I thought my 3DS was below 9.8 but apparently it got updated to 9.9 at some point. I'm still kicking myself for letting it go over 9.2. Really I just want it for emulation though, so it all works out. Hopefully the games I want will run okay on it.

Anyone here have a DSTWO+? I've been unable to get the gateway mode to play any .3DS ROMs. Needed an entrypoint since I had no browser so I was trying to use a Cubic Ninja ROM. Couldn't get the USA or JPN ones to work. Was there an important step I didn't know about?

I don't see too much problems with it since most gen VI hacks are just a joke because they are just some re skin for the main characters and maybe some more difficult to beat trainers.
The firsts who made that were ok since just, they were the first.

The way you could 'send' me the money, I'd take it, and then deposit it again just like you did, so you could be sure you will receive it again.

I just want to help some anons that updated like me and need CN just one time to boot Homebrew Launcher (or another thing) and then install a secondary hax.

One of the guys with an 8.1J N3DS without a browser here. I was asking for help in various places and one guy told me this:

"Create an Emunand, unlink NANDs, install the Gateway-provided downgraded MSET to the Sysnand, set the DS Profile trick and use the Gateway/DS2+ for all your 3DS pir-backup needs.

From the DS Profile you could try to use a CFW instead of hoarding that DS2+, just be aware that nothing that can be launched from the DS Profile can be used to update the Sysnand (rxTools Pasta/DevMode is still broken), it'll insta-brick as soon as you try to.

Installing the browser on the Sysnand probably won't help you in anything because the 8.1 still doesn't have proper support. But, in the off-chance the you manage the Browserhax out of it, use MiniPasta and Sysupdater to get to 9.0~9.2J."

Doing the 2DS cfw install and have some questions

So far I've:
>formatted the SD and system memory
>copied over gateway
>launched the app and backed up NAND and 3DS files to PC
>Formatted emunand
>Copied all files including nand backup to SD
>Copied over rxtools, firmware.bin, and third >file and put it all in the appropriate folders
>tried to launch Rxtools

Then it just stalled while copying files over. Not sure what the deal is.

I was also wondering about NANDs and 'unlinking nands' The NAND backup is there to restore me from a brick yeah? But since its stored on the SD card and not in the system memory can it really initialize itself?

Anyway I'm a bit lost, not sure which stuff is outdated or if there's any particulars about 2DS since most guides don't mention it. Pls halp

Yeah, but you need a hardware mod to restore it to sysnand. You can restore it freely to emunand though, since that's readable on your PC.
Unlinking means that your emunand and sysnand get separated.

It's not a flashcart, you need a bunch of wires soldered to the inside of your console.
If your console bricks that is. If you can get as far as the Gateway launcher, that will let you restore a NAND backup.

MSET is just the name for the system settings "app" on the 3DS.

The screens aren't big enough that your viewing angle is going to affect anything and the IPS panels Nintendo is using are so bad that sometimes people can't decide if it's actually IPS or not.
