This is crazy. Anyway, so yeah, just finished Undertale and I liked it.

I didn't end up crying though and I think it was mostly because I never felt truly surprised or shocked. It might be because I kind of knew where the story was going. The What the Fuck moments were the gamebend-y stuff.

Me having read a lot of Homestuck did color my perception a lot, but in a positive way. Though it did mean that it never stood too much out for me.

I do love all the characters though.

By the way, I found it complete bullshit that the actual way to proceed in the Asgore fight was something that DOESN'T work earlier in the Toriel fight.

I also freaked out at one point because I thought Undyne killed the Monster Kid.

Why is Genocide such a fucking trudge? There's two actual boss fights and the rest is just grinding. Before you go 'well its not the right path ur supposed to take:))))' what better way would there be to tell you to fuck off and play the game the way you're supposed to than balls-busting difficult bosses? Actual Mettaton NEO, Alphys siccing some OP amalgamates on you, Omega Asgore. Make the player pay for what they've done, not bore them to death. The fact that Toby's never making Hard Mode because he's a lazy asshole just makes it worse.
