From an actual storytelling perspective, Lloyd is basically the person who breaks Zelos' cynicism and puts trust in him, making Zelos put absolute trust in Lloyd in return.

It came out in the same year as Abyss for the same system and Abyss completely overshadowed it. Appearance and gameplay-wise, Legendia looks like a step back from Symphonia while Abyss looks like a step forward.

It's depressing for a Legendia fan like me. Legendia gets almost no cameo appearances, quality merch, or acknowledgement at all. It had the best soundtrack, a great story and world (by Tales standards), and magnificently developed cast.

Legendia R never. Feels awful.

It was a cute scene, but it's kind of funny how much everything seems to hinge on it.

Though I also find it interesting that between all the versions of the story so far, we have stuff like

The more I play Zestiria the more I think it's a pretty solid story with very good cast stuck in a game with mechanics that go back 4 or so games

I meant the way it works on combo's, yes the moves look fucking great, especially the fire and wind ones(just got Dezel) but they are limited to being a 3-move combo and only B-artes are actual combo's, the A artes are just spells that need to be cast. It all makes them really fucking boring and not as fun as playing with Sorey himself

She's a stranger just like every party member aside from Mikleo. And at that point the only reason the shepherd was still alive was because she rescued him there and before in Hyland. They didn't exactly have a large selection of candidates to choose from. She's knows her way around, she can be a squire without making Sorey go blind and decided to monitor him in the chance he strays from his path so she can take him out. I don't see the issue with her joining compared to anyone else.

I'm talking about when the party members first meet. Zaveid didn't come until way after Rose. And yeah they spent time with Lailah after they met her, just like with Rose and everyone else to get to know them. Sorey isn't the type who looks at rescues as "balancing".
None of them trusted Rose more than Sorey either. I imagine in the off chance Sorey was corrupted it would be a good idea to have someone who wouldn't hesitate to take him out lest everything go to hell. Zaveid would do it as well I'd say.

A failsafe is always a good idea in my book so I won't argue about that but half of the seraphs wouldn't do it and the other half would just do it themselves anyway. And again the point was that claiming rose has every right to judge when someone should be killed is stupid.

Anyway you think Rose is great and I think she's a irritating mary sue. We'll never agree and I'm tired of having the same debate every time so I give up.

My point is this didn't happen. At all. They met a strong person who could help Sorey and tried to get her to join them. That's literally it. It's the same damn way any other member joins, because they would be useful in the party. Especially after they just lost Alisha.

Sorey just walked into a warzone and literally blown a shitton of solders out. Many would have died. He is very open minded, clearly.

The game makes a point of things not being so black and white. Rose just believes in what she does, but she doesn't say she's a saint. They just make a point of her "investigating" her client's targets beforehand, whatever that means. Remember she is hired by people to kill as well.

Yeah I never said that. I have a LOT of issues with her, but your problems just don't follow what I saw in the game.

Rose wasn't a stranger by the time she joins the party. At that point she already helped you out a couple of times:

> Helps getting the medicine and other goods into Marlind
