because I actually like being able to have an answer for anything that comes my way. Jet Pack + Bowshot gives me mobility and the ability to massacre tight groups of enemies. I used to use Impact but after the nerf it's garbage.

T-21 literally massacres everything in every scenario except maybe point blank to shotgun or DL-44s. 99% of my kills are Heavy Blaster and I can usually maintain a 2-3 kdr.

Honestly I think the patch didnt exactly cause a 'split' i really think that it somehow fucked up the match making. Sadly if they dont tell us shit due to no patch notes, we'll never fucking know.

Besides that, I really really enjoy this game, but for whatever reason the matches are ALWAYS 1 sided. I'll try my hardest and pull good numbers by playing the objective and for whatever reason I end up on the shitter team and lose. Occasionally i'll get in that glorious game where its a constant fight over the 3rd/middle point and it goes back and forth a bit but soon after that its either we rape them or they rape us and the game ends quick.

Fighters wings make them stupid huge targets and they'll pop pretty much instantly to an A wing negating their damage advantage. To do well in an interceptor you need to do a few things

Always keep your speed up except for the moment you're taking your shots. Cut it all the way back momentarily (if you can safely) there and you'll hit much harder.

Save your torpedo to wipe the shields if they go up. Nothing worse than having them come up with an enemy almost dead, and by that point in a fight they've probably blown their evade.

Constantly keep lock on held down and scan for players. Dont ever approach them head on coming out of the spawns... you can take an x wing occasionally but an a wing for sure will maul you.

Speed boost is underrated. Hit it right before a 180 and you'll have a big speed advantage in escapes or use it to close in on crappy a wing hitboxes.

Try to get slave 1 at the 9 min mark, and then go lunging head on into the spawns once you thin them out. If you get slave 1 and want to win just keep it throttled up to full and dont give the falcon a front approach for a ram. If you just want point ride the falcon and dodge his 180s.


I can pretty much always get 8+ player kills and 12+ ai kills this way with 1-3 deaths in an interceptor.

Wow, so I just went to refund the game. Matchmaker kept pairing me with US servers with 200ms, got fed up of using DNS bullshit to force it to connect to AU servers every time I wanted to play.

Chat took about 25min went something like this

Take off your diaper, put on your big boy pants, and start using a little strategy instead of just blasting randomly and praying you get the last shot in.

A fully charged sniper shot does more than 30 damage to a hero. If a hero is at ~1/3 of their health or lower a charged sniper shot is guaranteed to give you the kill no matter how many people are shooting at the hero. Impact grenades do ~12 damage, same deal. Hero hunt requires strategy and patience.

Everything besides barrage, impact nades and cycler rifle are worth it to some degree. Get ion torpedo and ion shot asap for walker assaults to use in your second hand youll get. Impact nades should only really be used if you're running a personal shield, barrage and cycler are straight trash. Best guns are the E11, EE3, T21, SE14C and DL44. Bodygaurd and Scout are best traits for large and small modes respectively. If you need cash and levels fast play fighter squad.

I bought Battlefront for the PS4 because I was wanted a large player population, but I keep getting BTFO every match.

How do people manage aim well enough to kill me within 2-4 shots even when I'm sprinting? I have aim assist on but it takes me forever to kill anyone with the default rifles and the DH-17.

ehh, i have around 250 hours on bf4 and i got just plain sick of all of the bullshit in it.

In battlefront the objectives are a huge focus in any gametype, and to take them requires actual effort. In bf4 80% of the people camp with vehicles/snipers/etc.. and the remaining 20% just ghost cap objectives. It gets very old after you realize every single game of BF4 is like this.

Battlefront is a good change of pace for me, since on PC at least it is reversed. 15% of people at most camp and the remaining 85% go for the objective.

In bf4 player movement is also retardedly fast, you can literally run across entire maps in around 45 seconds or so, since the maps are also tiny as fuck. In battlefront the movement is slower.

In battlefront there is a very distinguished "front line" of the combat. In battlefield 4 it's just a giant clusterfuck of camping vehicle whores and snipers, and a few random infantry ghost capping empty objectives.

Let me repeat the hyper speed sprinting in bf4 completely ruins the game alright? in battlefront for example if you try to run across hoth in walker assault you are fucking dead. In battlefield 4 the turning speed and sprint speed is high enough that you would be able to run across hoth zig zagging and bunny hopping and lose less than half of your health.

When I do it I get the occasional lock on but easy enough to get rid of as hero is usually in the thick of it. The heroes are pretty slow so often even when cloaked can still inflict damage. It's not just me that does it though - whenever I get in a hero its often just constant damage because the smaller fighters just stalk the shit out of you (and you can't get a good one because they're more maneuverable)

I don't disagree, but they're slower to turn than fighters. So if someone is onto you you can't necessarily catch them

No, if you land a hit with an ion it will do enough damage to both drop the shield and some hull damage normally. Ship shields are just like ground shields and can be worn down.... they aren't pure invulnerability buttons.
