I don't know how fast he is, but a nailbat is a handy option to boost his attack, though you'll miss out on 50 speed.

Personally I found his soultimate to be pretty powerful, so I gave him a venoct gauntlet and paired him up with a grumples so that he can fire off soultimates pretty fast.

I heard that word all the time growing up. Both sets of my grandparents are super Southern and they called the toilet the "commode" a lot. They told us to use the word "toot" instead of "fart," too, so Nate's "toot" spree didn't faze me.

He's still my favorite thing about the dub aside from Whisper.

Correct. Every medal that isn't silver, blue, green, Gold, or Koten can only be read by the U.

The U reads everything and can be updated, so go for it. I doubt they'll make another watch, with the way the series has been flagging and with the third game half a year away. (I'd like to see a Mass-Production model, if it gives more color options that coral green and comes with the first few updates included.)

I think what coins yield are based more on what file you pick than anything. I have somehow gotten one Appak in both my second file and when I reset it. Will have to see if I get Badude, Negasus, and Casanono from Satan's gachapon before knowing for sure.

Assuming Saiyuuki/Sanzang is from journey to the west, how their name is interpreted will vary since it was translated so many god damn times, either that or its just a character very based on the original character.

I'm no expert myself, but i find that if you do a basic search, like for Keita, Keizou, or even just Youkai Watch, it will take you to some pics that might catch your interest. Type them in japanese preferably, a simple copy paste from a wiki or whatever will do, because it tends to provide more search results for that. From there just favorite and bookmark things you love and you'll get recommended things that seem relevant to your enjoyment.

That's how i found a lot of my youkai watch stuff anyway, and i dont think i have all that much either.

I think the only yokai I'm having difficulty befriending now are the ones you get from watch maps, which is becoming kind of frustrating.

Is there an easier way to farm watch map yokai at all? Is it better to just fight everything you run into, wait for the exclamation point to pop up and then exit, or wait for the yokai to get away?

I'm having difficulty getting Ol'Saint Trick to spawn, and obviously I still need Uncle Infinity (Haven't seen the fucker even once, even on rainy nights, how do people farm this guy.)

Statiking is a rare spawn in the infinite inferno, he looks more spirit damage focused then Uncle Infinite, though yeah he's an option too, even if his stats are more well rounded and not as suited for lightning damage.

And i have Gilgaros but like you said he's definitely more physical focused. Like a tank / dps hybrid, since he's not quite as tanky as other tough youkai, but has the skill and strength to deal decent damage.

They need to make a less disgusting high level youkai with the starved skill. Cause yeah, cant see myself ever putting Hungorge on my team.

Most likely, not sure how to feel about the different kinds of off tanks and psuedo healers. I mean the variety is always nice but it just feels like it'd be a bit of a waste instead of getting a youkai who specializes in a certain field. End game bosses pretty much require that kind of set up, even if it's basically only Orcanos, so it's like you can use whoever for the rest of the game.

Aside from the first chapter or so of the game, it's entirely different from the anime story wise. Though they are almost all some familiar characters, even background ones.

The game is fun, i havent been able to put it down. Visually it's a treat, the gameplay itself is decently engaging and even challenging as long as you arent running with a party of rares or legendaries. The only real detractor it has is the RNG can be pretty bullshit in terms of befriend youkai or catching creatures like bugs and fish.

Apparently the second game is more like the anime in terms of characterization, so i'd love to see that myself.
