So the Institute is a bunch of scientists thinking they're saving the world when all they've really done over 200 years is murder and terrify the people above so that a couple hundred real humans can live comfortably underground.

I'm not sure whether this is intentionally showing how they're out of touch with what's really going on or if it's just Bethesda failing to match their writing and the gameplay again.

My first run was 100% melee just because I assumed the game would be too Bethesda-easy otherwise. I just specced for high STR and END, grabbed the switchblade from the shack by the vault elevator and went to town. It's not terribly hard. Do all the drugs and bum rush fools.
