Great supports to begin with, Alistar, Janna, Thresh.

Alistar teaches you to engage and to be the tanky frontline of the team.
Janna teaches you to disengage. She's the queen of disengaging, and teaches you when to disengage or harass. A good Janna can be a pain in the ass for the enemy, especially if they have engagers that need to just run at you.
Thresh teaches you to make picks with hooks and gives you the utility to be either a disengager or an engager. He's really freaking good, though, his W (a lantern) can be useless at your level because no one tends to pick it.

Corrupting potion is ok with brand but supports don't have enough gold income to do something like that because you're delaying a sightstone and its important you get that early.

People get better at csing by either practicing in a custom game or just go into normals/ranked, ignore the enemy laner and try to focus on last hitting creeps. over time last hitting the creeps will become second nature so you'll be able to fit in hitting your lane opponent in between cs because you're not so concentrated on it.

it'll be slow at first but you'll get better.
