Melee was the reason why Fire Emblem came to the west in the first place and Sakurai is well-known as a big time fan of the series. You can even see how Smash influences Fire Emblem by giving the series more recognition to the wider audiences.

Here are 18 reasons that I might not be good at FE.

Kashim's death wasn't meaningless/random but it hurt the most. FE3 ironman is actually cool because fucking nobody has bulk and you can never tell when shit might go wrong. You always have to plan for backup options and sometimes you need to place one unit's life over another's.

Astram is here to prove that FE3 does not have unit death variant endings. This seems logical until you realize that Gaiden had them. Also, Mishelan's ending directly mentions Tomth despite him not being alive.

Marth is there to make the image look nice. Ogma ended up with the most kills at a whopping 51.

If you are referring to me, no. Midia isn't a very good unit in any variation of FE1/3, although she's okay in Book 1 and 2 of FE3. I don't really have a waifu, although I like Charlotte and married her in my friend's import copy of Fates. The best Archanea girl is Palla, despite her bizarre situation with Abel.

Here's Astram's final stats(he might have leveled up in the finale, I forget). Not fantastic, but he was a pretty good unit in this run.

Its possible on Maniac, but I only did Hard. To make up for it, I did not use the Rainbow Potion and did not forge much(the forging thing was less of a restriction and more of me being tactically retarded and only doing one unnecessary forge for the last 3 chapters). It was full recruitment.

Robin levels up super fast and takes zero effort to get good. He's available from the very start and never slows down. In most normal no-grind runs, Morgan only starts to become more powerful than him much later on, if at all.

- You pass down the last skill in your list when you go to recruit child units (generally galeforce and counter are highly desired).
- Armsthrift is a good skill for preserving legendary weapons and forged weapons (aim for 50 luck).
- Vantage + Vengeance lets you cheese the game hard.
- Best classes are Hero, Assassin, Paladin, Sage, and especially Sorcerer (but anything is good with grinding).
