I rented Until Dawn and couldn't get into it with all of the QTEs. You're basically railroaded through a path and it stops being good as a movie around half way through.There's no save states either so a character can die by mistake if you miss a QTE.

If you wait maybe a few months, you can get maybe ratchet and clank and the last guardian which you mentioned. I would say be a little patient to get a game you really want and for now play something like far cry 4 which i personally am enjoying instead of the order which to me seems generic.

Until dawn seems interesting but it has a lot of QTEs so it's like watching a bad movie. But if you have friends to play with i guess it's worth the purchase just to have fun like five nights at Freddys.

Infamous definitely is at the very least - the atmosphere is drastically different to the first game's due to the new MC and setting, and the new powers, environmental destructability (even if limited), and RPG-elements really make it play quite differently.

Well the Gold Wireless headset I ordered from Ebay yesterday came in today (same city delivery) and it's broken.. Everything works but the SOUND/CHAT button is literally missing the SOUND side of the button so once I turn it down I can't turn the game sound back up. Are there some kind of restrictions on how games can allocate trophies?

For exmaple you don't see any "full" games with less than 20 or so trophies, but the amount of bronze gold and silver seems to change. Some smaller games have heaps of trophies, others have few but they are all silver or whatever.

While I don't like how big patches are, there is 7 years between the gens, of course games are going to get bigger. The problem with those patches is that it only happens in MP games. Devs create DLC, to use it you need to pay, but people playing online can use it even if you don't pay so everyone essentially has to download the dlc so everyone can still play together. I think that's rubbish. Just a few days back I had an urge to play BB and got dunked on with a 9 gig patch before I could go online. I hate that, but I honestly can't see a way around it without splitting the community, at least with a game like BB.

microtransactions are a thing sure, but I can't think of a time where I have quit playing a game because of them. For the most part they are there to shortcut you to unlock stuff and the MP games I play I like, so I don't mind playing them and I get the unlocks naturally anyway. What games have actual stonewalls where you HAVE to pay to win like you see in free mobile games? It's more just unlocks, or more often stupid aesthetic type addons no one cares about.

It's that cute/silly but dark tone that definitely made the game for me, along with the cast. Glad you're enjoying it.

For the most part I think the game did a good job of giving all its characters a good amount of screen time. It's been a while but the harpy's involvement was pretty one off I think, but I don't remember the specifics of what happened with it.

I'm loving the cast so far. The harpy part was where they were looking some ingredients for the shaman so that he could cure Metallica who looked like she was pregnant. The harpy got injured while fightin the dark witch that appeared. She gave the item they needed and collapsed on the ground then the chapter ended just like that and she was never mentioned again. Pretty much the same thing was with the two earlier witches Malia and Valentine. I think it's hilarious but unsatisfying at the same time, then again it's made like that on purpose and that's the way this game does things. Sorry if it's hard to understand what I'm trying to say.
