I feel good when an achievement pops or a aoe down a huge group of mobs and seeing my rep go up, every time, or upgrading a piece of gear or gaining a level. Its what I log in for.
That's why I'm always amused when people are like "WoD sucks and its a boring game". I feel as if this is because they aren't autistic and capable of playing such a grindy, satisfying game, yet they complain and play it anyways.

Combat is used for AoE damage and it does it's job better than any DK spec. Combat may be worse than dk at single target or priority targeting, but that's not the specs job and people play sub when they need to fill that role. And guess what? Sub is also better at its job than DKs. So overall Rogues, as long as they know what a dual spec is, are always doing better as a dps provided semi equal grounds.

Like I said family, never really cared for being good. Wow has so many boring fucking classes that it's not even worth it. Demon Hunter and a few other classes are the only things that I actually like Thematically and Playstyle wise. If the new AoE affliction talents end up making the spec a bit spicier I'll try it again but I'll probably just go demonology.

Furnace is unreliable and has spirit, blackhand has like 375 int with a 2k multi proc
I mean the spirit is good itself because if i stack the shit out of it i'll be able to burn my entire mana pool and regen it all back in 10 seconds with tea but the int is overall better, can swap them on and off

Emulsion. Shouldn't be using Phylactery at all on mistweaver, actually. Your mana costs are either 8k a spell or free, and on the free you don't see any benefit. Usually you'd go Intuition because a 735 crit active gives you just over 30% which paired with revival or ring is stupid, plus it synergizes with mana tea letting you burn a ton of chi in a short amount of time and getting a ton of value, on top of the int/spirit.

You'd usually swap trinkets for different situations but it'd be Crucible+Intuition for the most part. Intuition synergizes with mana tea to well to give up. Intuition+Emulsion for fight cheesing, Intuition+Insence for fights that are boring with trickle damage (ie mSocrethar). Or Intuition+Blademaster for dank healer dps ranks 8)

Arcane mages hit glyphed arcane power 2 seconds before pull with class trinket equipped and then swap it out for another trinket, so it snapshots the class trinket buff but they get the int benefit of another trinket as well. Works really well on fast fights because you have ridiculous uptime on glyphed arcane power on shit like reaver

I'm not him so I can't really be sure of what he means but currently the mage class trinket changes how arcane power is, so what you can do it cast it before the pull, swap the class trinket out and keep the effect from the class trinket + have two other trinkets for the pull which is very advantageous on fights where you could only get 1 real use out of AP anyway.

yes. The new system is actually leagues better than it ever was. Then again the endgame is a tad boring. Not that it has been otherwise in any expansion. If you are looking to familiarize yourself with the game prior to the new expac, I say get it. If you want to see how people react to Legion when it hits, then wait it out and read up on the classes in the meantime. I'd also advise you to read up on lore and the like since that is my main draw in the game, but mileages may vary and you might only be interested in pvp or hc raiding and nothing else (not that there's anything wrong with that).
