How assinine is it to switch temples?

If you decide to tank are you stuck with tank forever due to how difficult it is to swap to max deeps stats and vice versa?

I like tanking, but I don't want to be pigeon-holed into that role forever seeing how tanks just make up 2 classes out of 13 and a lot of dps classes interest me way more.

At the same time I feel like being able to tank sounds super useful.

You're not very well-informed. Stone Spear is like 95% as strong as Sledge builds right now, the only reason people never use them is because the first burst is awkward to set up. If they flat out just added 180% damage to the build it would be absurd. I'm guessing they neglected to mention something.

The big issue is that you need a lot of different symbols for both tank and dps.

Do I use pulsating flare on allies or on the enemies? So far I've only done 3m dungeons and aside from shielding whoever is taking damage I feel like I'm not doing that much, that the dps I can do isn't really all that much.

Honestly grouping for solo adventures is usually a waste of time and effort, but I guess you don't want to solo as a lightbinder.
Even still, you should be buffing the best damage dealer in your group rather than trying to do damage yourself.

Strength is core on any dps. None of the alternatives even come close.
Luck vs Valor can be a valid debate depending on class and I've had similar results running both in the past. Most people go luck anyway.

After the patch, Gunner will want strength and valor instead of luck.

Kinetic is getting nerfed down to archer tier, so you'd better get used to playing cryo and gunner for a while.

Basically just grab any symbol that reduces the damage you take or gives you shields. After you get all of those, grab CC symbols such as slowing attacks or cryo's class symbol.

I think a class that uses nunchakus would be awesome. I did a rough sketch of what I think the class would look like. It doesn't matter what the class is called, I just want to play a character I can relate to in the game. I know how to use nunchakus in real life and I would love to test my abilities with my character to see if I can match what my character does. You can make this one have 2 different stances like the witch or the monk, and go with single nunchaku or dual nunchakus. I gave him the title of Pyromaniac or Pyromancer because the person i learned them from is a street performer who does this for a living. What he does is fire dancing, so he light's the ends of nunchakus on fire and spins them like crazy. Anyways I also gave this weapon the ability to shoot laser out the end's of the nunchakus because let's face it, PEW PEW. lol Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

Archer is fine for PvE as long as you build it for PvE. Won't top the DPS charts, but sometimes range, mobility, AoE, and CC are desirable.

Necro has some interesting uses, but he doesn't fit into the "front-loaded dps check" gameplay that's been going around like a plague for the last few bouts of endgame content.

I don't think Slayer has any real PvE uses but I'm really no Slayer expert.

Expect that to change as you get higher where (some) people know how to combo and Alchemists start showing up.

Lich definitely does damage to hurt targets, and can even top the charts if it's just a single-person deeps pissing contest, but the time they do damage is not consistent with the Alch+LB burst meta which probably isn't going to change after this patch. What Lich IS good at is being in risky situations and never fucking dying. But there aren't many "war of attrition" raid bosses out there. Most of them have mechanics which punish you for taking too long.

You can't stack them to my knowledge. But they just give you faith and there are plenty of ways to get faith. I use pop Divine Healing like Tic Tacs and yet I'm still capped on Faith.

Also some Spark Replicators, but you know, you can just farm sparks normally.
