Your charm table resets every time you load your save in this game instead of being chosen when you make a character. And there's nothing that locks you into stuff.

If you do use the IG, then just upgrade speed as much as you can until G Rank when you can get Effect Extender.

Well if you say squid you might have already realized those aren't heads.

In case you really don't know, it's a landsquid that attacks you with its tentacles. When you do enough damage in the second quest some armor breaks and you see its squid face that you tought was its ass and the big ass bone it's wearing is in reality a giant fucking skull. Also the tentacles use skulls from dead monsters such as Brachydios or Dinovaldo to use elemental moves.
