For the most part of the first two to 3 hundred hours in payday I used hoxhud, because it helped me. After that, I ended up needing to reinstall because i fucked with some files, and I found that I no longer needed hoxhud in order to play well.

My point is, if you're good enough, there's no reason for you to use hoxhud in the first place.

The only reason I could think of why you would want to is for murphy's law, but other than that, you should be good enough at this point to play without it.

Counter-Strike Aced is a waste of points, so no.

I like the Javelin since it kills the Cloaker in one body shot. The swing time to launching one is usually fast enough to gib the cloaker in a panic before it gets me.

I use a Grinder GL40 + pistol build so I don't lose out much on not having nades.

It's still in the hot dog stands. 1 on each side of the map should cover it all by placing it next to the fridge. There is also the "server room" where you hack, but it's not as safe as the hotdog stands.

Silenced weapons are actually quite nice now. Because suppresors do not have the massive damage penalty now, bonus from silent killer becomes really powerful. Silenced krinkov is unbelievably godly.Silenced deagle and silenced m308 both can oneshot elite in the body, which means that even a complete scrub would be able to use it effectively.

With the recent rebalance updates, the "bigger, the better" suppressor has a +4 accuracy bonus which can be really be interesting for your Assault Rifles and SMG if you don't care about the 46 damage breakpoint.

Having both gunslinger and kilmer is useless, you would be better off having m308 + a utility weapon. There is no need to have both m308 and bronco instead off m308 + HE judge or m308 + RPG. 14p dodge crook with bulletproof is less useful then 14p dodge grinder , because 14p dodge grinder has godly regen and good EHP without the need to spend a lot of points. C4 is useful only on a few heists. Lack of Stun resistance aced will make you spend half of the heist blind. Underdog aced gives a good bonus to survivability for a few points, there is no reason not to use it.

Something that's been bugging me about Slaughterhouse: If the Murkies are a private military contractor, why would they need to hire a GenSec armored truck (with basically armed t-shirt civilians) escorted by a convoy of Murkies and entertain the risk of a security leak from GenSec (which is probably how Bain found out in the first place)? Don't they have their own armored trucks and jeeps and other secure transport vehicles they're allowed to drive around DC? The setup feels really wrong.

Like, even in Shadow Raid, they had the extra guards outside the compound but only outside, as extra hired help. The Murkies owned the warehouse and had a barracks right outside in case it got too loud. The Slaughterhouse equivalent would be the Murkies being the ones roaming outside, while GenSec guards were inside the warehouse. And that obviously sounds wrong.
