Nero is either C or F, both have unique tools so try them both.
C-Warakia is by far the most popular, F-Wara is the I-No of the game so it may not be a great starting character because he's so weird.

I like to zone and play keep away. I like the one robot chick that says all her lines with the cool computer voice and she has those zoning moves like the ground disc and the wave. I also tried out Noel and I think she is really cute and I was landing cool combos by just button mashing. She has guns and some moves to projectiles but idk if she is a zoning character.

He's mid-tier, so he's not bad. But tiers don't matter much in GG anyway. If you want to use someone, then give them a try. Bedman is a lot of fun, but his trickiness comes from the fact that he's most effective up-close but he's not the fastest so he has to use some of his tricks to get there and set up his sigils.

DoR introduced veterancy, new units like AT guns, revamped all naval warfare (especially on fog of war), revamped the way COs work (there are even times you DON'T EVER want to use a CO power now), and has sweet music. It's the true sequel to the original Advance Wars on GBA.

The only bad thing about the entire game is that the main campaign is too easy until the last mission, which is literal "exploit the AI's stupidity to win" difficult. The multiplayer, war room, and custom maps are amazing. It's the best AW.

It's a tactics game, there is usually just the game series mechanics and then from there you just buy new games to play new maps with different challenges.

I was annoyed with Fire Emblem tried to innovate shit because I didn't want to play transforming furries who don't use swords.

I just wanted to fight stuff with Berserkers and Sword Masters and crit the world into oblivion for the 1000th time.

You can make an argument for Ram I suppose. Though Leo without a doubt should be first priority for gameplay redesigns. Leo is in far worse shape than Ram has ever been and needs to be reworked before anybody else. Give him more moves, change his properties, whatever. Just make Leo a proper Guilty Gear character, then worry about the more debatable ones like Ram.

After 3 months of playing fightans seriously I sti have major issues with certain motions.
For example I can do down>down-left>left just fine, but I find it really hard to do the same motion on the right side.
I'm gonna practice this more, within combos as well. I also tried switching to the analog stick but it's hard to do during a combo

Cause he lacks any freedom in how to play him. How you see Leo plays is always one way and is done in this extremely linear fashion. That bread and butter you see Leo players do is because that's all they can do. You can't play any other way with him. You do his gimmick and that's just about everything. Which is a huge contrast with every other character in Guilty Gear where all of them have very clear difference in freedom with comparison to Leo alone. He is the only character that does not feel like a Guilty Gear character at the moment. I think he can still be saved, but they need to give him more options and have those options be just as viable as his gimmick. Considering how Revelator hasn't changed or added anybody moves, it's a little concerning if that'll ever happen.

leo might not have many options, but ram has tons of options that are straight up worthless. how many of her tekken strings are actually used, like three? what leo has is useful, and the variety in how it works comes from the matchup

The main reason leo doesn't have much variety in his combos is because he doesn't really do air combos ever so he doesn't have to adjust for character size/gravity as often. how many characters can you honestly say have tons of unique BNB's?

Because Ram's core gameplay does not funnel you into that one specific option in every situation with very little on what you can do with it. Leo's gimmick is useful, but it's very prevalent that it the only thing you can use. Every single other thing Leo has is pretty much can only be used to get into his gimmick and can't really be used effectively. Now I would like to make clear Ram at the current moment does have issues. She does need improvements as well like you listed. However I don't feel like I'm fighting the exact same Ramlethal player everytime I get in a match with one. She has options that serves more then one purpose. Even though like you said at the moment some of her options serve no use, but even then all of her options don't point to the exact same goal. Which I can't say the same about Leo.

Well if that's your luck with Ram then I can't say you're wrong. That is your personal experience after all. However I've seen Rams play in different way, first hand even where I fought one that was pretty much went full zoner. Furthermore I can't say I've ever played against or seen a Leo player play in a noticeably different way. And considering how much more popular he is player wise compared to Ram should be saying something.
