Will depend on how they plan to expand the guild content. Something like guild vs guild, or guild rankings, etc.

There will always be faggots doing every instance of every worthy dungeon every single day.

And also we will have to see what actual rates we get when the game goes live, if it is slow exp then we will see a big gap in levels between members of the guild. This will lead to people to separate on different groups, between the "hardcore/no lifers", and the rest.

If there is a guild members limit, then I can see (depending on the leaders) something like "if you are not level xxx+ by next week you will be expelled".

There will be a pretty huge difference between people who play hard and those who just play casually in this game. Right now everyone is gated by the Lv200 level cap, but when the game comes out for real and it goes up to Lv600 or whatever it's going to take the more casual people exponentially longer to get up to the endgame. If you aren't one of the frontrunners, the hardcore folk, leveling spots will be pretty shit since you have to fight over them with the vast majority of the player base. By the time the general playerbase gets to cap the more hardcore people will already be completely decked out and have a ton of their open world and world boss drops, simply because there's significantly less competition.
Why would anyone that is part of those hardcore people ever want to party with someone who isn't? There will just be a tremendous gear discrepancy there to the point where you would basically carry them. Not that this would even matter for a very long time since reaching level cap will probably be a year long endeavor for the casual crowd.

That +50% crit attack is nothing to be honest, it also depends on what his class choice will be after. Corsair and Fencer don't need this, and Doppel can live without it.

Pelt meanwhile gives taunt (with +25% hp), +18% evasion, block (+25% block with shield and extra defense), umbo blow stun.

Would this work in some odd way? Fencer has a skill that buffs slash skills, which is most of the highlander kit. Highlander has that skill that removes defense. Could work pretty well together.

No Spr, no Con. You don't need them, just don't forget to neglect your defensive attributes. 3 str : 1 dex is good, or even 2:1. What I did is this:

110 str, 10 dex
120 str, 20 dex
...
200 str, 100 dex

which allows me to put most points into str for early levels, as that is how you level up fast.

On the subject of Rodelero, Slithering gives 100% evasion to magic damage. So the class is a bit more valuable than previously thought, of course you can't attack during it but you can still tank magic mobs using Swash/Slither.

Does anyone know why blunt weapons do more damage than rods while in buffed OOB? I'm doing some calculations and it just does't add up, the formula is this:

Normal OOB = ( mATK + 70 - mDEF ) * 1.5
Buffed OOB = ( (mATK * 2 ) + 70 - mDEF ) * 1.5

Both rods and blunt weapons follow the normal OOB formula fine, but rods get a decrease in damage during buffed, even though the rods I've tested give out more mATK.

I didn't know about that magic evasion effect.
In general I think the idea is that they are supposed to use their CC to prevent magic mobs from casting. At C2, Shield Push prevents mobs from attacking for 10 seconds with a 15 second cooldown. Shield Charging knocks mobs around, and Montano and Shield Shoving are interupts. Useful stuff when dealing with all the sleep/freeze/silence spam some mobs do. Now if only Rodelero had better damage output.

Is cataphract really that bad comparsd to other c4 classes? I took cataphract instead of hoplite c2 and I like it, you get to go fast and Earth Wave seems like a pretty good AoE nuke to me at least at my level (110), mob up a bunch of mobs and it instagibs them. Don't know what I'm missing out on since it's my first swordsman but at least I'm having fun.

You get 2H spears and a nice costume. Girl cataphracts are 110% cute and definitely marriage material but that's all you have going for you.

Your skills are crap with enormous cooldowns and going fast loses the novelty pretty early. Worst of all, though, is that you can't use any of its skills unmounted and many skills of other classes cannot be used mounted. So unless you make the climb to C3, and you end up going Doppel or something later you essentially wasted a rank. And even then C3 cata is outshined.

here. I'm sword-> slutasta > Hoplite > cata so fair, going to go Pirate C2 for R5-6. Everything in this build can be used while mounted. (Except for Dust devil on corsair, but the corsair skills that acutally matter (dual weapon, hexen) can be used while mounted). I'm giving up 5 Finestra levels for mobility and utility, and a cute/10 costume. Seems like a fair tradeoff to me, care to enlighten me on why this is so bad?

Also if you didn't know Impale can be animation canceled to do decent burst damage.

Finally figured out how to make use of the chronomancer skill set.

You go Pyro2>Psycho>Chrono and you use Telekinesis, Swap and Stop to grief people until they pay you to leave.

You gave up Hoplite2, which gives you full time Finestra and 5 levels of extra stats, as well as Spear Lunge which makes pierce attacks deal extra damage (anywhere from 50% to 150% depending on mob type). Spear Lunge is one of the most important skills to take for pierce damage, and it has overheat too.

Not having those extra stats from Finestra makes you take more dex instead of str as a Corsair, which doesn't help your damage output. You also gave up 5 levels of Pierce and Stabbing, which is not the end of the world but if you want to overkill using Pierce then you need those (you get the extra hit on circle 2 too).

5 levels of Finestra might not seem like much, but once you are reaching rank 6 levels those extra points you are saving and placing into str do make a lot of difference.

Corsair also doesn't have too much synergy with Cata, since you want to use Spear+Dagger on Corsair so max out your DPS potential.
