So I've gone around murdering settlers and reloading to see if theres any synths and I found one, but he has extra resistance like people mention and 2 had do don't have synth components on them. The problem is that when I purge the synth, everyone attacks me.

I'm guessing they cut them because casuals can't handle water combat, as Bethesda wouldn't implement the ability to break their corpse for a simple easter egg.

Humans are inferior because they can't be memory wiped to restore order to their thought patterns: damaged goods like Kellogg just illustrate this further.
