If you're feral with decent gear, tinkerer and princess should pose no threat to you.
Haven't tried landslide but rotgrip is doable as long as you're not in bad gear, I can't quite do him yet since my dps is a bit too low.

i'm new here, never played vanilla, started just before ZA patch in TBC. Orc hunter or undead lock? i enjoy pvp/pve and I usually level alone. read the OP and it seems like I should go with lock.

Does horde run out of quests at lvl 50?

At level 55.5 and most quests I get are directing me to BRD or STRAT/SCHOLO. Do groups even let members in who are under 60 or is everyone running those going for bis items

You forgot that corruption does damage too. 5 ticks = 1 shadowbolt.

Also on big fights with several mobs or big packs (Garr, Sulfuron, Majordomo bwl trash etc) you can cast on every target that's not cc and you get a ton of dps and nightfall. I use talisman of ephemeral power before doting everything.

Maybe I was lucky today but we did MC and I got my best dps ever by far. I always had 300-340 but 388 today not flasked. It even dropped recently since I'm assigned to a curse now and lose a gcd at start of every fight.

They're not really. You need 4 in MC for a smooth Garr fight (banishes) but that's it. A good guild can do MC + BWL with only 2 and improve its dps overall. They would just use curse of elements (for mages) and curse of reckleness (for melees).

I guess most guilds, including mine, are stacking them so we get good gear before AQ when we become one of the best dps.

Is it worth rolling both for lock raiding and mage aoe farming or is aoe farming a meme on this server with xbox hueg population? I aoe farmed with great success on kronos but they had like 10% your population.

Mages and Locks both farm Whip Lashers in DM East. Mages are slightly better for that but not really a big deal.

As for AoE leveling there is a lot of people so mages typically have to claw for spots to farm. Generally faster to just quest.

The time it takes you to level a mage to 60 you could farm 4-5k gold with your lock. It is way more than you need until naxx at least.

If you like to level or want to have 2x 60s why not but it's not really worth it unless you like to gear twinks or pay to be in premades.

Also those classes are really similar.
