Oh well. Such is life. I was really looking forward to climbing out of silver with the kind of upswing I've been on lately. My personal theory on why is twofold.

First I quit League for over a year when I raged and took to playing Dota for a while. Maybe I got better as a result? It might just be that in my leave the average player got worse. Possibly both. The other idea is that Since I started playing Dota, I've become completely immune to raging at my teammates. I mostly just try to tilt ragers with pick related on both teams and ignore mine until I can do whatever it is I can to win. I noticed that as a result of being immune to rage, I haven't really cared about League at all since I sperg out hard enough at Dota that I don't have the fucks to give League. As a result, I don't care and maybe play better, but the instant I start caring a little bit I lose my skill.

Larant throws his knives at a target doing his % max health as damage and depending on how many Feast Stacks he has bonus Magic Damage.

Lauarant Cosumes his Feast stacks to let lose of the true cannibal inside of him, doing double damage, ganing movement speed, tencacity, and drastically decreased cooldowns on his abiliies. After his stacks are burned out he will be Starved and have reduced attack speed, movement speed and defence for 2 seconds.

How difficult her tentacles are to deal with in lane pretty much entirely depends on the match up, which can be pretty sad in blind pick.
"don't get hit :^)" is pretty much it though. Her tentacles are slow and her W and R are really short range, on a champ with no mobility outside of her 350 range targeted jump that's pretty significant.
What you said about being blitzcrank is pretty much true, the value she gets off of hitting E is incredibly high. Fortunately it's about as easy to side step as a Tahm Q. Unless she has a teammate to set things up for her, with her lack of mobility or CC avoiding it is manageable.

As far as actually killing her is concerned you have to rely on kiting or poke until she is low enough to be bursted.

yea athenes isn't the greatest early spike but in my experience i feel it necessary on spammy champs like ziggs or orianna, and morello offers barely more damage; the biggest thing is to get a large rod item second, if you're forced into getting void second you're not gonna feel relevant for a while this applies to pretty much every mage that doesn't build liandry's or something else weird second item
