5 Reasons not to play on Lordaeron
-- a list by Pezado --

1) Molten has a long history of scamming and shady business practices. In the past they would do things like randomly suspend people's accounts and offer for them to be restored for a cash donation. When they weren't making enough money from their cash shop they decided to intentionally break the Shadowmourne quest line so the only way to obtain the weapon would be to pay €70.

2) After five years their other WotLK servers are still horribly broken. The idea that Lordaeron will be any different is a joke. Molten is all about making money and they will only put in just enough effort to achieve that goal and not a bit more.

3) Gross mismanagement. They've had their databases wiped twice due to the owners jewing eachother. It is not advisable to invest time into Lordaeron because its very possible your character will be destroyed some time in the future. You can read all about this here: http://pastebin.com/tktcCEFC

4) They fake their population big time. In reality Lordaeron only has 1800 to 2400 players online during peak hours. A big difference from the 7,000 they claim. 5) Pay to win. They claim you only will be able to donate for gear 1 tier below the current raid, but everyone knows that's a lie. Lordaeron will go full pay2win before the end of T8 raid content.

ATTENTION ANYONE THINKING OF ROLLING ON ATLANTISS

I made this mistake yesterday. Logged in, made a character and decided I was going to play with some vidya bro's. Instantly I noticed that mobs agro at x2-3 their normal range, well that's ok I can just kite. Oh, when they die they respawn nearly instantly and they're INVISIBLE, you can't hit them NOR can you see them. Well, I guess I can deal with this, I can just run away. WRONG. Mobs don't have a tether range and will follow you until you die or kill them. I complain about this in gchat and what do I get "LEL UR SHTR M8 GlT GUD" "I NVR HAD NE PROBLUMS UR BAD M8". I'm bad for dying to invisible mobs who will never stop attacking me? Right virgins. I will post this in every wpsg from now on to let people know that atlantiss is a tremendous fucking piece of shit with 0 population and awful AWFUL AWFUL scripting. I wanna share a sick scam I made up today with you all. Heres the scam (works on all servers)

1.) Join a trade channel.
2.) Look for someone selling an item for a lot of gold. Eg. Epic item for 450g.
3.) Make sure you have the 450g on you.
4.) Heres what I did wrong, I "Agreed" to trade the user. What you want to do is DONT SAY ANYTHING. Its good if your a priest and you can /who and mind vision, but you can ask "Where are you" or "Meet at Auction house" or Invite to group. Just NEVER accept to pay them 450g.
5.) Open trade window, put the 450g on your side of the screen, make sure they see it.
6.) As soon as they put the item down, take a 0 off your 450g and accept trade. So you actually pay 45g for the 450g item . Resell for 300g and have fun with your huge profits.

Okay so if we can't play on Lord and we can't play on Atlantiss.. where do we play

Can someone explain how rogues main hand/off hand stuff works in wotlk? (not that I know how it works in other expansions, Im new to this)

A guide I'm reading says to have your most powerful weapon in your main hand to start off. I'm only level 12 at the moment. I'm just starting to get talents into dual wield specialization, which makes my offhand do more damage. So I'm wondering if I should put my stronger weapon into my offhand to benefit from the talent more?

Dalaran is what you want. They have 2 servers, one ICC simulator and one progressive. You can only advance on the progressive server if you have the achievement from previous tiers, it affects heroics, raids and pvp, so even when they reach ICC, you can't just farm it for eternity, you have to progress starting from naxx>ulduar>icc.

It's kinda neat the system, don't know why people don't play there.

A much larger part of the experience is playing with people you like to be around, and you're much more likely to find those when there's more people to choose from.

Just to add, i played when molten was releasing ICC and they had an abyssmal bug who allowed people to hit gold cap, it took 6+ months for them to fix it. No server wipe, nobody got punished, the economy was destroyed. Never again i will play something the lol10 staff touched.
