Miis aren't forced and star characters are disabled in the communitiy so you shouldn't worry too much, having a ~210 drive is more balanced than overpowering the Mario cast.

Regarding the blender models for our players, why don't we do an all mario kart items theme since that is the most obvious representation of mario kart? I was watching the stream of our game, and the commentators were able to speak more naturally when they could understand what our team is about. The people watching the chat could too.

How do I get good at Mario Kart 7 for 3DS?

I always get rubber banded to shit right when I'm about to cross the finish line or get 10 coins.

Is there any way to deal with blue shells and lightning.

Been using Koopa/Yoshi with B-Dasher, Mushroom Wheels, and Paraglider.

This isn't Wii, try using a balanced combo or an accel based one like Koopa Soda Jet Wood Flower. The CPU AI is a bit predictable, just make sure you don't make too wide turns and always have a defensive item in hand.

Ok, I mean on 150 cc I can get into first and have a 3 bannana trail with a green shell in reserve, but I get fucked by the blue shell most of the time.

I try and hit all my drifts to get a gap going, but it seems like their always a few seconds behind me.

Mind you this is my first Mario Kart, so I'm sure this has been prevalent shit since 64 or Double Dash.
