You know, its funny. I've always had a thing for "scout rifles" in any game. Always liked hard hitting semi automatic rifles. Seemed more operator and skillfull for some reason. Especially in games where you could actually use your trigger finger and mow fuckers down with a semi auto

Having said all this I'm really not looking forward to a massive resurgence of people using midas. Fast ttk, zero significant falloff on any map, high enough fire rate to be viable even on smaller maps, and the exotic perk keeping people very mobile while shooting is going to be frustrating in competitive arenas

Yeah but even the static base stats are shown wrong. For instance, all sidearms have the exact same stats but some fire at a higher rate than others. Havoc Pigeon fires slower than Ironwreath-D but they have the same impact/fire rate when you examine them.

It's for this reason that I never ever trust what the stats show.

Ugh, I've hit that LL 285 wall that really slows things down. Forced to run NFs until I get decent enough gear for KF normal (then get bodied there because I barely meet the requirements)

This game's shortcomings really shine when you're forced to aimlessly grind out a number. I get wrecked in crucible because my primary is absolute trash, trials are out of the question and quests aren't soloable at this point.
