It's definitely going to be hard to use, and put heavy emphasis on spacing just like Rapid Blaster

With max damage (3+9 main/sub) you hit 98.8 damage, which is enough to 1-shot enemies that have touched your ink.
3 DMG+ main gets you to 93 damage, which is quite unreliable but Sloshing Machine's spiral and coverage makes up for it some.

I'm genuinely curious as to why there's very little blaster raging on this board. They have the same cheap 1 or 2-hit radius kills as rollers, so why do rollers get shit on disproportionately?

I recall people use to complain about blasters in TC before the nerf. They still do but it's less often cause blasters now have to aim at the tower instead of just shooting at the tower's direction.

Custom Range Blaster beats out (Custom)Blaster overall if you can handle the fire-rate difference
Luna Blaster has short range but is hard to stop, especially Neo Luna with Splat Bombs
Custom Blaster has some use at A+/S if you put on SC+/SSaver/Ink Res to ensure Bubbler is ready more often.

Use at least 2 Swim Speed+ subs to make getting into/staying at range easier, the acceleration bonus is a big factor.

People just get angrier when they see what kills them up close and personal. Dying to a blaster is just like "of course I died, they have a huge blast radius they don't have to aim at all" whereas dying to a roller, the person knows they screwed up, but instead of owning up to it and learning from the experience, they come shitpost here about how much they hate rollers and make excuses for why they died. Also, Blasters aren't as common outside of a single ranked mode most people avoid anyways.

Rapid Blaster has some uses when you stack DMG+ like an E-Liter for 99+ dmg direct hits
It's far from easy to use and I'd seriously recommend 96 Gal (Deco) instead, it takes extremely good spacing due to 3 bars of direct-hit

Back then it was actually somewhat new or unique to see these things, people gradually got better at the game though and things changed, people learned mechanics better and whatnot. This shit is now just a bunch of recycled jokes and garbage, something funny would be getting killed after having an intense battle against someone by a stray sprinkler shot or impressive would be getting a triple kill and making a massive comeback right before the match ends, that might actually be impressive or worth watching. Dying intentionally to a sprinkler or getting a bunch of kills because you're playing against retards or have the advantage because you're lagging like a bitch isn't anything special, worth making, or worth watching.

If you want to spread it out, play through single player until you beat the first boss, after you get that scroll take it to Sheldon and get him to make the weapon, play turf war until you are at the level that you can buy that weapon then go back to do the next area of single player and repeat. That way you get to space out the single player stuff a bit more as well as try out a greater variety of weapons in Turf war instead of just gung ho for the meta and sticking with that until Ranked.
