Because those cards would ruin a whole end of the spectrum of deck archetypes.
There needs to be a less heavy handed approach and more punishes to early game, as current aggro punishers are too slow or unreliable.

These card types are as shit and overcosted, as low drops are good and undercosted. Everything that counters aggro is slow, and expensive. Everything that counters control is fast and cheap.

Big Game Hunter needs to be "Destroy a Giant" or have its effect switched with Hemet. Ironbeak Owl needs to be removed from the game, and for aggro shitters to be forced to use worthless "counters" like Spellbreaker, just like control have to spend an entire turn to use expensive counters.

Well if you think for a second, anything that would be efficient at pacing with aggro, while having the ability to counter aggro, tends to just end up being aggro itself.
Look at muster and shielded minibot. Both were not designed for aggro play, but lord knows that they pushed the early game speed of paladin so high that aggro paladin became amazing.
Zombie chow is a great example of anti-aggro done well. Deathlord is as well, and don't cry that he pulls a minion, he takes three with him. The fact he is terrible against control is why he is a tech choice. If he was great against control, aggro would just play him.


But lets take your two solutions for example. How would you deal with turn 4 egg + PO + void terror without BGH or owl? What about Twilight drake? Just have to deal with the 4/9 on the board?

You want to beat aggro, I assure you play 2x earthen rings, 2x refreshment vendors, 2x healbots, and 2x chows. Your chances of winning will shoot up tremendously. You don't want to ruin your chances against control? Too bad. You want to be able to tap till 4 and play an 8/8 and have it always stick and have little to no chance to lose because you took so long, well I can't imagine how that sounds fair.

Lay on Hands, Pyroblast, and Gorehowl you'll never need 2 of, but will need 1.

Bloodknight is kind of a gimmick, but the hardest tech against Minibot/Annoy-o-Tron you can possibly have, so if Paladins piss you off that much keep it.

I don't have much experience with Earth Elementals but I imagine they work very well in pairs, they also soak up removal for your lategame threats so if you want to keep a Kelthuzad alive there's that. You can also play 2 on turn 10 I guess. Underated card IMO.

Bane of Doom is also kind of a 1 of so don't bother keeping another.

Everything else is good in pairs and somewhat relevant.

Its a 10 mana card that doesnt win the game. It doesnt kill your opponent, nor removes his board, nor makes it impossible to cast spells.
You skip a lategame turn only to have it hexed/polymorphed/executed/hunters marked, silenced, siphon souled, assassinated, shield slammed, etc.

Anyway, 9 mana for 4/12 is how some other legendary are statted, and it would make it better overall. One less attack for one less mana is better, and it makes it immune to priest removal.

The hardest for me was Dark Iron Arena. There are other hard on BRM heroic, but that was by far the most frustrating for me.

You will steal one, the second battlecry does nothing because the opponent has only 3 minions because the cries fully resolve between.

Now to explain why cabal tries to steal the same minion twice (even though the first resolved and you can't target friendly minions) and can cause it to destroy the stolen minion on the second go because the board was full after you stole it the first time, that is a mystery of spaghetti code.

Unstable portal should just not be a card.
Look at this 9001 hours in Photoshop masterpiece. The green line is where cards should sit.
Card with RNG elements should randomly sit anywhere between the purple lines.
That is, if you roll average, they are average. If you roll poorly, they are slightly bellow average. If you roll well, they are slightly above average.

Cards that can vary between HORRIBLE and AMAZING GAME WINNING are bullshit cards and shouldnt be in the game.
Same for cards that vary between okay and AMAZING, or cards that vary between okay and HORRIBLE.

Brann is bugged with a lot of Battlecries due to shitty Blizzard coding, even they theoretically should work. Anything that would require multiple selections or has a weird interaction doesn't work

In the case of Cabal it's actually 100% downside, if you have 5 minions and play Cabal you go to 7 normally. With Brann in play, your stolen minion dies.

This is fine, as long as the cost for this is great.
When the cost isnt great, and you dont pay much for having these cards play, then its shit.

Like Voidcaller. The price you pay to summon a demon for free is getting -1/-1 on your minion, as for 4 mana you expect 4/5 stats.
This price isnt big enough. Should be a 3/3, so that many 2 drop minions and spells can destroy it.
A 3/3 for 4 mana, which summons a demon if you have it in your hand, would be balanced.

However, this card doesnt even seem OP right now, because the balance is all over the place.
There are so many cards bellow the power curve, and so many above it, that balanced things appear underpowered, since everybody just plays OP shit or random cards that vary between okay and brokenly overpowered, like Shredder or Unstable Portal.

Cards like Brawl shouldnt exist, and should be replaced with cards like Enter the Coliseum.

You don't understand, if you have baron up and 9 cards in hand when anuburak dies he goes to hand and spawns the 4/4 then tries to spawn the second 4/4 and go to your hand again, but it sees there are now 10 cards in your hand despite it itself being one of them then discards itself now you have 9 cards again.

Kidnapper would do the same thing, the card goes back making the hand full, the card tries to go back again sees the hand is now full and discards now you have 9.
