Sorry if this was said before but I just noticed that the 40AP quest is named after the first Buddhist hell. I guess we can safely assume there will be 8 40AP quests during the event, and taking this a bit further they will probably have increasing difficulty, possibly ending with a quest that has crystallized lore as a reward. Although they are KoH'd, they are still just flares, they should be bottom of the barrel when compared to the other stuff he was previously using. We know Gilgamesh armor can handle some damage, and even then it was implied he got damaged, although we don't know how much. Doesn't seem like he brought up anything special in order to survive.

With Shirou Saber, after Avalon, all he could do was scream SEIBAAAAA, didn't bring no defensive NP, nothing, he just got caught off guard and got BTFO.

As for Shirou, that also shows how bad he is at adapting to shit he didn't expect. There are better was of dealing with Shirou than going HURR EA, but Gil isn't the best at thinking of a solution when pressured.
